"Hired Bay State to take out my old bathtub and shower and replace it with a new walk-in shower. Fabio, the installer, and Daniel, his helper, were excellent! Very professional, efficient and took an eye sore of a bathroom and made it a gorgeous place to take a shower in now. From the beginning, everyone I dealt with were friendly, helpful and professional. Jim, the design consultant, helped us decide on what we wanted and how we were going to get it accomplished. The owner, Jen, was helpful in explaining some things we weren't too sure about and the girls in the office, Sarah and Destiny, were pleasant and patient as we had to re-schedule several times for various reasons on our own part. Bay State accomodated us at every turn. It's a rarity these days to find customer service like they have here. It was a bit expensive but you also get what you pay for. The craftsmanship was excellent and the product itself is top notch. It is MADE IN THE USA, also!"

"We acquired a condominium on the 2nd floor of a 2 family house in Arlington. MA. The existing hardwood floors were beyond repair and we wanted to add a 2nd bathroom. In addition we wanted to integrate the existing sun porch into the living room to more than recover the area lost to the new bathroom, and install central A/C. We had estimates from three other contractors before we met with Pedro from Crystal Renovations. His pricing was very competitive relative to the other contractors, but that was mostly due to the others trying to add work that we didn't want or need. Pedro listened to what we wanted and worked with us to accomplish it. From the very beginning of the project until the end Pedro was always responsive and answered, emails, texts, and phone messages in a very timely fashion. He and his crew and subs were a pleasure to work with and any issues that arose were dealt with in a calm and professional manner. Before and during the project Pedro made several design suggestions such as recessed lighting on the sun porch, shower stall light, and new bath layout that definitely improved on our original thoughts. In the end the project came in on time and with a very small increase to the original estimate despite some challenges he and his crew had to work through. The best part, though, is the absolute impeccable quality of the finished product. We highly recommend Pedro and Crystal Renovations and plan to use them again in the near future."

"This company was responsive and professional from start to finish. Carlos promptly replied to my initial inquiry for an estimate and arrived on schedule. He walked the perimeter with me and explained his recommended approach. The estimate was in line with two others I'd received, and I felt it was more comprehensive (e.g., he would apply two coats of paint instead of one, and he would replace a small section of damaged, moldy siding rather than bleaching and repainting it). I had asked about replacing all of the trim with Azek, and Carlos advised against this since the upper trim was in good shape and was not cost effective to replace; I appreciated his honesty. He provided several local references who were pleased with the work they'd had done. The entire crew was very professional, arrived promptly each morning, and cleaned up at the end of each day. He kept me informed throughout the process. They did a terrific job--the house looks brand new! I realized a week later that a couple items had been overlooked (side door primed but not painted, bulkhead not painted), and he made sure everything was taken care of. I will definitely hire Real Painting again for future work!"
