"I am not yet able to determine whether or not the expected results of the basement waterproofing work is satisfactory as I have not had a rainstorm or heavy rain since the basement waterproofing work was performed. I will, however, pay great accolades to Quality 1st customer service, especially to Kyle. I was troubled with the proposal for the job as certain aspects of the language would have left me at an unfair liability should something had gone wrong with the work. I explained this issue with Kyle who followed through until the proposal was acceptable to me. The work crew was exceptional in that they were punctual, worked quickly, neatly and were, without question, among the hardest workers ever to have done a construction project for me. The crew was headed by Wilver along with his guys - Manuel and Jose. Again, I will refrain from commenting on the expected results of the work performed until the appropriate circumstances occur. In summary, I would say that Quality 1st demonstrated A1 customer service and the crew that performed my basement work were hard workers with great attitude."

"I hired Aztec for major repairs due to termite damage. They were prompt, professional, and easy to work with. They came in less than 10 days after we contacted them to FINISH the work. First, they evaluated the damage and walked me through the needed repairs which included placing three new steel support beams along with two main horizontal wood beams and several sistered beams. They were able to complete the work, once they started, in three days. At each step, I was informed of progress and there were no surprises (from my end). The work included everything from removing electrical wiring and then replacing it, pouring the new steel vertical support beams, affixing them solidly into my concrete floor, and then pacing the numerous horizontal beams. I could not recommend AZtec (and Greg!) more."

"In January of this year, my wife and I decided we needed to transform our finished basement to an inhabitable living area. That would require adding a bathroom and an egress window for â emergency escapeâ . We hired a contractor for the bathroom and began the research on egress windows. As we were anxious to move ahead ASAP, I began contacting companies that installed egress windows. We had a couple of reps come out, look at our basement, discuss the process and quote prices. Estimates ranged from $8000 to $12000. Most had 2 things in common. 1} They could not schedule the job until somewhere in May or June as â windowsâ wouldnâ t be available until then. 2) Any â finishingâ work (necessary sheet rock and trim) would be extra as they did not do that. In March, I happened upon a copy of a regional advertising magazine (Clipper) which came in our mail. In it was an advertisement for â Basement Gurusâ . Since we still hadnâ t made a commitment for the work, I gave them a call. After discussing the job with them, I came to conclusion to go with â Basement Gurusâ . There were five reasons why I made this decision. 1) It appeared to me, based on reviews, the company had a good reputation. 2) The fact that they had windows in stock. This would move job completion date up significantly over what I had been told by at least three other companies. 3) The price. 4) Excavation would be done manually eliminating the possibility of damage to my neighborâ s lawn. 5) Sheetrock and finishing included. Our egress window project (install/follow up sheetrock/trim) was completed on time. Three workers came to our home for the install. They completed the window in three days. Very efficient, professional. Our township inspector came out a few days later and said â all looked goodâ . Also, John the sheetrock/trim person told me he had done a number of egress finishes. He said this one, as opposed to some heâ d seen, looked really good. The sheetrock and trim was completed in one day. An egress window is a big job. They make alterations to your homeâ s foundation! All in all, Basement Gurus did an awesome job! We now have a really nice â livableâ basement adding significant value to our home. Basement Gurus gets my full recommendation! "These guys were great. We changed our mind mid-way through the project and wanted more work done. Instead of just removing a small part of our concrete around the pool and pouring new cement, we decided to add pavers, to an even larger section. CPD, was so accommodating as to give an addition price right on the spot that was reasonable. They even came back on the day we asked them to, to finish the job with the exact same pavers we already had. They never even said they were going to see if they could get it for us but would bring us a good match. They surprised us with the exact same product number of pavers. We are extremely happy with the job they did, their on-time arrivals, their willingness to make changes mid-project, and their willingness to accommodate our schedule. Great job!
