They also installed a nifty new water-powered back-up sump pump system (so the basement won't flood again during the next big power outage). </p> <br />"

"We called at 4:45pm on a Saturday afternoon and our first experience and contact with this company was a very rude, very robotic girl who answered the phone. I called saying we had a burst pipe in our basement and water was everywhere and we needed someone here ASAP and all she kept saying was "I can make an appointment for someone to come out between 5-7pm" - when i asked how quickly someone could be here she just kept repeating that phrase over and over with absolutely NO emotion or sympathy for our situation or emotion - just robotic. So i said fine make the appointment - and we waited and waited and waited. 90 minutes later i called back and got the same insensitive robotic girl and when i asked if they were on their way, she told me "I'm not at liberty to tell you that" - WHAT?!?!?!? Are you KIDDING me?!?!??! I just want to know if he's coming, not his social security number for God's sake! Anyway, 15 minutes later (almost 2 hours after my initial call - again, NOT an emergency on their part!) the plumber shows up - but HIS priority was finishing his cigarette and tossing it onto our lawn, not rushing inside to see how he could help. He meandered in proceeded to tell us that the broken pipe was "just kitchen water" and "nothing to be concerned about." After he leaves and the insurance company sends out a clean up crew, someone used the restroom and at that point TOILET WATER came flooding down into our basement. It wasn't just kitchen water, it was RAW SEWAGE water!!! Can you say HEALTH HAZZARD?!?!? What an incompetent idiot!!!! We called them back AGAIN and they got here much quicker this time (only took 40 minutes, not 90). A new plumber repaired the break with a temporary line and they came back Monday morning to replace the entire 20' sewer line. Our problem is with the ignorance and sheer incompetence of the first plumber who showed up - their excuse was "he's our weekend guy - he's farily new with us" - well that is NO excuse to a homeowner who's told a busted raw sewage line in kitchen water!! Mind you we have 2 young children (1 & 3 yrs old) and we were walking in all the muck and mire clearing out the basement and not worrying about it b/c we were told "there was no health hazzard - it was kitchen water". We will NEVER call them again. They not only sent out an incompetent plumber who put our health and the health of our 2 young children at risk, but they also made excuses for the 1st guy who came out. Not to mention the rude, insensitive, robotic girl who answered the phone when we initially called. Again, OUR emergency was obviously not THEIR emergency. For that reason (in addition to the others mentioned) we will never use them again nor will we ever recommend them."
