"Everything went very well. David arrived promptly and started work on water shutoff and pipe drainage in basement. He spilled very little watr in basement and caught almost all of it in bucket, leaving no mess. He is very professional and advised us on problem of lime buildup in old Honeywell humidifier pad, correcting the impression left by one technician that a filter would solve the problem. Water from town is very hard with high mineral content apparently and solving basic problem would eventually require adding water softener to entire house which we decided not to do at present. Cleaning or replacing humidifier pad at more frequent intervals may manage the problem. The old piercing type saddle valve was basically junk as he showed us and would not meet code if done today. Old valve was frozen and he installed a high-quality brass 1/4 turn valve. He cleaned up what little mess he made and left. He is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. We have used him for toilet flusher and faucet repairs in the past and were well satisfied with his work. <br />"
