"Gave them a call to clean 24 yr old ducts that had never been touched. BOY, was I glad I did. It turns out they'd been eaten through by rats in the attic for who knows how many years, had been pouring cool/hot air/$$$s into the attic, and mold everywhere. The guys came back, did a terrific job of replacing resealing, and scrubbing everything. Then they came back and blew insulation where it should be up to, as opposed to below the ceiling joists. My electric bills are already $30 below where they were last year, and the A/C unit is thanking them. They explained every step, answered every question, and YECH. Had pictures documenting all of it. Nobody else will ever touch the HVAC in this house. I can't thank them enough."

Home Advisor's first company (Preferred Environmental Solutions, through Emerald Coast Air) assigned 3 successive tech who never came, so 6 weeks later Advanta Clean got the job, They came in just a few days. "Working with Hugh on repairs/installation of Central HVAC. He immediately contacted me, and I explained my 87 year old mother was without air having had several Freon recharges in the past few months. He made time that day to go and diagnose mom s problems. He was unable to get a part that day because stores had closed. He cleaned and sanitized inside unit, recharged system with Freon so my mom and dad would not have to suffer through the weekend without air. He did this service for no charge and said he will check with parts store first thing next business day and we will continue from there. This guy was an Angel as I am in Texas trying to help my parents in Pensacola,FL during a pandemic. 😇"

"The install was seemingly ok. However,  I always like to be on site to make sure things are done to my standard. I had to do some small reworking on the returns, so the larger unit would be able to pull enough air. I am ok with this, since they would have added to my price for construction costs.
The unit was installed and everything was good. However, when I returned from work after the first day to check the inside of the return for seals, etc, I noticed that there was a large amount of debris from the install, RIGHT BELOW THE INTAKE! There is a reason filters are put on the returns, and it's to prevent crap like construction debris from filling the cavity below the unit. These guys got done with the job, sealed everything excellently, but forgot to do the most important part - CLEAN out the debris.
Fortunately, I found it early, and it has not caused any issues, YET. But I assure you, if this unit so much as makes a funny noise, they will be replacing it on their dime.
