They came on Monday and diagnosed the issue quickly. Unfortunately the needed part is discontinued. I really appreciated that the technician seemed bummed that he couldn't fix it for us."

"I reached out to 5 gas stove repair companies through Angi. 3 responded expressing availability. I chose one after looking at their webpage. They were scheduled to come the following morning the technician didn't show up, and I was unable to reach the company by phone. So, I called FixVerse around 1 pm to see if they could come that afternoon. Even though the technician was booked for that afternoon, he was able to squeeze me in at the end of the day at 6 pm. He arrived right around 6 pm, and he was able to confirm that all my gas top burners were working properly as well as the oven. I was renting my apartment to a tenant who was moving in in two days. So, it was such a big help to me that FixVerse was able to come when they did. The technician was terrific, very knowledgeable and skilled."

"Highly recommend HUB Appliance for their knowledge, value, and customer service! I was referred to them by a reputable plumbing company, and their prices were fair (actually cheaper than the first company who came out to take a look). I could tell from the first conversation with Karen who answers their phones and coordinates service that they were a cut above since she had a good amount of knowledge herself as to what the problem did/didn't involve and who would have the right expertise to send on site for our washing machine problem. Tom first came out and was very knowledgeable, took the time to show me what tests he ran, explain the probability of what the issues/options could be and approximate cost to fix them. He answered all of my questions and took the time to offer opinions if we needed to buy a new dryer what would be best for our needs (e.g. pros and cons of front- vs. top-loaders, different brands, etc.). Our machine ended up having a pretty complex problem that would disappear and then reappear, so it took multiple trips that were all scheduled quickly and arrived on time with professional (and COVID-appropriate) interactions. The owner Al himself ended up working on our problem and ultimately diagnosing it, which unfortunately meant needing a new computer board so he recommended for the cost of that part and repair to just buy a new machine -- so great to have honesty and our best interest in mind! They even issued a refund for part they ordered and labor to install it since they weren't able to fix the problem in the end (a VERY rare case). This is what really put me over the top that they are an honest company with excellent customer service! Cannot recommend them enough. :)"

"Our 4-year-old microwave stopped working (no display, nothing). After doing some research online I unplugged it and plugged it back in. It started humming very loudly and displayed a PF (power failure) error, indicating a blown fuse or a control board failure. Wintley Baptiste from The Equipment Doctors stopped by two days after I made contact through Angi. He diagnosed the problem as a failed control board and said he would have to order the part and come back in 7-10 days to install it. He gave me an estimated price for the part and labor to install it and asked if I wanted to proceed. I said yes (if I had said no, I would owe $150 for the visit and diagnosis). Wintley called a week later, saying he had the part and could stop by that same day to install it. He did so and the microwave is working fine. The price to repair the microwave was $330. By comparison, a new microwave would have cost at least $500."

"The guy that came out was nice but really didn’t do a great job of troubleshooting. He said it was a pressure sensor problem and that the whole control board needed to be replaced. He called and gave his shop and they gave me a price of over 350 dollars. I told him no way I’m gonna pay that since it was more than the machine is worth. He then offered that I call the manufacturer to see if they could help which I did. The manufacturer sent their own repair man and that guy just pretty much reset the computer and now my machine works well. I should have just called the manufacturer first. I had to pay the 80 dollar service call to Affordable Appliance for them just to diagnose it. I was charged the 80 at first and the owner Richie contacted me and was very helpful in making my situation right. He refunded me the charge for the service call and offered his business again if I want it in the future. This was a great way to show that he cares about his customers and based by that action, I will recommend him for future jobs."
