"Very easy to get an appointment and the office called the day prior to confirm. The chimney sweep showed up a few minutes early and conducted a thorough inspection of the chimney,  flues, and furnace smoke pipe. We only needed the smoke pipe cleaned and that was done well with no mess or soot on the floors or elsewhere. The team was very professional and explained the process clearly."

"I had stainless steel chimney liners put in two properties I own, and one of them also needed to have the chimney rebuilt from the roof up. One of the liners in particular was very difficult because there were 2 gas boilers and 2 gas hot water heaters exhausting up the chimney, with low head height in the basement and a small flue. They had to custom make connectors to get everything to fit, but they ended up getting it done! I found pricing to be reasonable, I received another quote as well and went with Metrowest because they seemed very knowledgeable and the pricing was competitive."

John diagnosed the problem with the chimney flue (a former contractor who re-pointed the bricks dropped concrete into the flue, essentially cutting off all air) and made all the repairs. "They did a GREAT job! They first ran into permit problems in Brookline, but Rich (?) was able to fix that and didn't charge me extra. Then on the day of the work, they showed up and worked through to the next day and removed the whole chimney from the inside without making a dent in the house. I was MOST impressed with this as I have 2 small children so dust is a big deal to me. Since they are so prompt and efficiently, i was able to coordinate with my roofer to come in on the same day to seal up the roof. At the end of the day, you couldn't even tell that someone had removed a chimney just minutes before. Highly recommended! <br />"

"My heat kept shutting off. Replace the safety value but it shut down again. Realized it must be a block in the Chimney. I called MANY chimney companies but most were to busy to come out for a month or two. I found one that would come on Friday but when I called Atlantic they said they would be out that night. They called back when they said they would, arrived on time, were very professional and explained what they were going to do. Even one of the owners stopped by. Turns out the chimney was blocked and they had it cleaned out in less than an hour. Even though it was dark out, Dan climbed on the roof to give me an estimate for a liner and cap. I will definately be hiring them to install the liner."

"We had two projects- 1) complete remodel of main bath and 2) some partial remodel work for master bath (ceiling), hallway (replace 4 doors), kitchen trim painting. Rich and Paul responded promptly with a reasonably detailed estimate. We negotiated a little because their estimate on the second project was significantly higher than two other quotes I'd received from similar size companies. The work was done on time, despite winter weather, and their sub-contractors were very good, professional and clean (!!). Paul did most of the oversight and his attention to detail, particularly for the main bath remodel, was great and much appreciated Like the other reviews, we also had some communication challenges, but found that text messaging with Paul works best. This is our third experience with remodeling and I think this is common to many contractors. Be sure to include a payment plan in your contract and consider details you might not anticipate would need explanation. We had 4 hall doors replaced (excellent job) but the trim painting was done only on the hallway side. Never occurred to me to specify *both sides* of the door trim for painting. Overall, a very good experience and highly recommend them for remodeling jobs."
