He is more old-school and prefers phone calls instead of texting, which worked fine for me and communication was always clear. "10lb weight restriction. This was extremely frustrating since we were told they would come on Tues. Overall, once the gentlemen arrived all of them were pleasant and courteous. Work went smoothly and they finished in 4 days. The concrete finish work is poor. This was especially discouraging as he guy old me he doesn't normally do concrete work. It seemed as if som of he workers weren't as knowledgable about the product, since they didn't have answers for questions I had. The first night after it was finished, we had a large rainfall. The basement is dry and with the dehumidifier running, I no longer smell mold. We looked in he drain ports and noticed water running the opposite direction of he sumps. Regardless, the basement is dry and water stayed out! We're glad we did it as the end result is a dry basement. However, there were issues we weren't happy with as stated above. Maybe we're just being picky, but we should-it was a lot of hard-earned money."

"Basement contactor put in a series of drainage ditches, PVC pipe for the downspouts, repaired, rotted boards, and added a, tar-like substance to seal all the crevices should water get past the drainage ditches. It was an excellent plan/execution and I fully expect to have a dry basement for the life of my home."

Your crew was so kind and so professional and meticulous, that they knew that two particular windows were very important to my wife.  Your crew wanted to get them perfect and asked me some questions about them, that I could not answer. My wife was feeling better, but still in the hospital, and I called her on the phone, while your crew waited for me, as she and I discussed for several minutes the exact placement of the windows. Some minor changes had to be made and your crew could have easily just slapped the two windows in the new location, which was only slightly off of the original plan, and be done with it, but they stopped and pointed out where my wife originally wanted them and the new location difference and wanted to be sure that my wife understood the change, and wanted me to talk to my wife first. I was so very impressed that they made the adjustments on the spot that my wife suggested over the phone. I don’t think any other company would have gone through this much trouble to please their customers! <br /> You also were very respectful of our property, neighbors, and your crew were always very willing to stop and explain the process of what was going to happen next. Not one time did we ever feel like we were in your way. Actually, it was the opposite, we felt like you and your crew were very excited to show us your equipment and how it worked and actually wanted us around so we could see how it all worked and so we could see for ourselves how everything was perfect - and it was! <br /> We will always remember you and think of you so highly. Thank you for making the beginning our home building so easy and off to such a perfect start. There are so many things that can go wrong when redoing a home, and having it go off with such a perfect start gives us such great hope. "The construction workers tore up old concrete at the end of my driveway and replaced it with new concrete at a different lower angle so my car wouldn't drag on it.  They replaced 3 sheets of sidewalk and the curb.  These workers have done other jobs at my house under the owner's supervision.  I have always found everyone to be courteous.  Concrete work is weather dependent. The previous owner refused to overbook and have too many projects going at once.  His crew completed the jobs though sometimes end dates were extended.  I consider it professional when a company like Behncke Construction refuses to rush a job and thus lower the quality. <br />"

"It actually went well.  There was an issue with concrete dust being all over but they made good on it. <br /> Be sure you ask them about how they plan to lessen the amount of dust from the removal of the old concrete to the mixing of the new. <br />"
