"They did exactly as they told me, they were on time , only charged for one service call even though they came twice and the price very reasonable . But, the main thing was the communication, keeping me informed on the progress of the parts ordered, even sent a picture by text when it arrived. Both times the serviceman, Ronald came, I received a text asking what time I would like to schedule his appointment, another text when he was headed my way along with his picture, a picture of the van he drove, and how long he had worked for the company. When he arrive, he was very professional and courteous, accessed the problem in very little time, then placed the order for the part. I told them, I need my oven working for Thanksgiving. The part was overnighted arrived on Wednesday morning, he arrived that afternoon replaced the part and was done. The owner Greg called me to check to see if we were pleased, if the oven was working properly and to say Happy Thanksgiving! I have not experienced any service like this ever, a lot of other businesses should take note, this is how business should be run and what all customers are looking for Kudos to Mr. Appliance. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

It has always been worth the monthly fee and deductibles. If you consider that most appliances today only last five years or so, breakdowns are going to be a given.
