He arrived as planned, reviewed the project for accuracy and performed the job. I had found a couple more screens that I hadn't previously mentioned and he easily added that to the project. I found Steven to be professional, personable, respectful, unobtrusive and tidy. He scrutinized each screen before reinstalling. I am very pleased with the finished screens. "I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Eugene was able to meet my familyâ s needs to get this room ready within one week. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! Eugene does great work, heâ s really responsive and communicative throughout the process, heâ s really professional, and he is very kind. I will be hiring Eugene and Honeycomb Construction again for future home projects. Thank you!"

"This was the first big project we had pursued since buying a new home, and we had an incredibly difficult time finding a contractor to finish our room.  We talked to 10-15 different contractors, they either blew us off, or gave us bids that were ridiculous for the size of the job that we had.  After an initial walkthrough, Travis came back to us quickly with a quote that was reasonable, and a timeframe that worked great for us.
Travis was enthusiastic about working with us, very friendly, and took the time to make sure he really understood what we were looking for.  He did a great job of communicating what was going on in the process, which was really valuable for us, as this was our first time dealing with a contractor.  I always felt like I could call or email with any questions and get an honest answer.
All his staff was super professional, and I feel like they did a great job of respecting our time and our house.  They also did a great job of communicating what was going on, and making sure we know where things stood at the end of a workday.  The room turned out great, it was done quickly, and Travis actually managed to come in UNDER budget!
We went from having such a negative experience trying to find a contractor to having a great one after finding Travis, I can't recommend him enough.  If we have anything else that needs to get done, I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

"Pretty good, but I have noticed a lot of soft spots in the flooring and felt that those spots should have been fixed before the flooring was installed. I don’t know what is going to happen over the next few months or years, are these spots going to break thru?"

"Very good deal, nice guy, but carpets were left very wet, and more stains came up and stayed, and our house had a musty smell for about a week. I haven't had that issue before with any carpet cleaners."

"Siding, windows and soffets are great. Doors were the major issue: 1. They took a long time to arrive. 2. Full length glass door was mistakenly put in for a sold door in the basement which would be OK if it did not look straight into a shower. This may have on the door manufacturer. 3. The front door was not installed square and the fiberglass door has now cracked. Accessing my home was not easy but the laborers who unloaded did a little more damage than they needed to."

"We had some water damage to a floor and wall. Andrew was very responsive and professional when I called and when he stopped by soon after to check the work. He worked with the insurance company and provided a very detailed work estimate. He and his team replaced some insulation, put the carpet and molding back in on the walls and cabinets. He also replaced the drywall, spackled, and repainted. After completion we can't even tell anything was damaged! His spackling texture and paint matched exactly. We are very pleased with his work. He was always professional and friendly, as were his employees. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him."
