Cost is determined by the job, so we send out the owner of BJ Tree, Scott Mack, to look at your job and give you free handwritten estimate. Scott will look at your yard and trees as if it all was his own. His wife Wendie, works in the office and ensures the best she can her husband's arrival and work crews' timeliness. A very large maple tree was taken down in late fall so a complete redo of the front yard was needed. The tree cast complete shade on the front so there virtually was no grass...and heavy Pittsburgh clay soil. The ground was prepared and seeded, weeds and old shrubs removed, all beds were mulched, beautiful new shrubs were planted, and a very, very heavy lawn ornament was picked-up and installed. Beyond the very fair, highly competitive price, Adam and Eric proved to be highly skilled craftsmen. They made excellent suggestions which improved our initial plans. The smallest detail did not escape their attention. Zalar's has our unqualified endorsement."
