We’ve used them twice in working on our now 47 year-old Crown gas stove. Crown is long gone as a business, and most repair people aren’t familiar with the stove. Just this month Carlita repaired several problems we had, by Zooming a visit to the inside of our stove (we live 6 hours from her facility in NYC), taking us step by step through making all the adjustments needed, in efficient time and for a very reasonable charge. (This was after a local repair person, for a sizable fee, was completely flummoxed -- and impolite -- about what to do.) We had fun working with her and are delighted that our wonderful classic stove is working beautifully again. We also, 12 years ago, had this same stove refurbished by Stove Lady in their shop – beautifully repaired, cleaned, and restored to like-new condition after we had it shipped to them.
