"In June 2025, I contacted Diamond Shine Drywall LLC and requested the company review my ceiling texture project and provide an estimate. The owner and his son came to my home on 13 June 2025 and provided me an estimate. He and his son started work on Monday, 16 June, but requested to finish the project on Wednesday, 18 June. On 18 June, at the end of the day, the owner indicated that he was not satisfied (and neither was I) with the quality of his work. He verbally promised that he would return later to fix the texture issue, even re-doing the project if necessary. I offered him additional income to complete the project properly, but he refused to accept, indicating that he would complete the project without additional income. He indicated that he first had to contact some sources in Denver on Saturday, 21 June, to inquiry about additional supplies. I sent a text to him on 24 and 26 June about the status of my project, but received no response. I also called him on 26 June and left a voicemail message, but received no response. Suspecting that he was avoiding me, I called him on 7 July via using another telephone, and he answered the telephone. He indicated that he was out of the country, and he would not commit to a specific date and time to finish my project. I sent him two text messages, July 7 and 18, but to date he has not responded. I contacted another company to finish the project. The company representative reviewed the picture of the ceiling and informed me that the Diamond Shine Drywall LLC did not properly apply the texture. On 25 July, the other company properly applied the texture on 25 July in two hours."

However I feel that I need to give the general public heads up about GC Matt Dagastino. Recap: Quality of work: horrible; examples: tile floor had to be replaced twice before it was finally level, rooms painted five times to cover all the missed spots, touch ups used wrong color, two new windows installed at different height, new door installed at wrong height leaving big gap below, damaged refrigerator by work crew, new floor still damaged by painters Time to finish job: less than half of work days had someone actually show up to work on the project, Matt repeatedly forgot to order items necessary for the job, forgot, ignored agreed upon design, had no clue the sequence that needs to be followed. His crew rarely showed up on time, days agreed on Finance: project cost was twice as much as original estimate, GC refused to disclose detailed bill, refused to disclose the contact info on architect that supposedly requested a major change in the way the project was done Attitude: rude, disrespectful and dishonest man, always blaming others. He makes you believe he is your boss, you have no saying or right for justice, very unpleasant experience Bottom line: Do yourself a favor, find someone else. (all of the above can be proved by 100s of text messages, emails and other documents)"

"Evan Eason and his Emerald Edge Construction Team did an absolutely OUTSTANDING job renovating my 3,000SF rental property. Evan provided a wide-range of construction services that included popcorn ceiling removal, dry-wall, painting, plumbing, tile work, cabinet installation/construction, and detailed trim work such as the buildout of a staircase (balusters, handrails, and trim). The only other vendors I employed were flooring and electrical. Further, Evan and his team of experts were exceptional problem solvers. Within my renovation project, Evan's work included the installation of all new custom kitchen cabinetry that took 12 weeks to procure. Within the process, the supplier delivered a wholly wrong sized kitchen sink base cabinet. Evan and his team responded by drawing out a "to scale" schematic of what was needed to fix the issue, procured the necessary piece/parts to reconstruct the sink base cabinet, and transitioned the newly constructed cabinet nicely with the other base cabinets. Without the Emerald Edge Master Cabinet Maker skillset of one of his employees, the renovation project would have been severely delayed. To summarize, Emerald Edge Construction was cost effective and completed the project on-time. Evan Eason, is attentive to the construction details and a pleasure to work with. I could not be happier with the end result of this Briargate "High End" renovation project!"

"Steve (owner of Builds By Steve) did a wonderful job on our basement. Steve is very talented and can build just about anything. He built a beautiful brick encased bar with a live slab countertop that looks amazing. The new basement has bathrooms with a lot natural stone in their design. Steve did all the stone work and they look like something out of House Beautiful magazine. This build was a huge project and like any construction project there were a few issues but Steve bent over backwards to make things right. We are so pleased with his work and would absolutely hire him again"
