"Thank you Start to Finish for making my house look beautiful. I contracted with this company almost a year ago, I was a client of Lawn Pride for almost 8 years. I don't regret the change at all. They are a great company, with solid values. They put the customer first, and their expertise and professionalism is subpar. I have used three different services from S2F, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. 1. They provide maintenance for my lawn, the combination of products they use is just perfect for my lawn, my grass is green, healthy and free of weeds. The technician is courteous and professional, he takes the time to put his machine through the small gate in the fenced backyard. He hasn't hit it once. Kudos for a great maneuvering skills. 2. Last year, I met with Cameron, and we talked about outdoor lighting. He recommended a set of Bluetooth color changing lights. As you can see from the pictures, you can seamlessly change the lighting colors from your phone. There is a huge array of colors, with the option of alternating the scene with up to three different colors. The installation was quick and efficient and the product worked right away. They have a very good warranty and don't consume a lot of energy. The price was reasonable and scheduling was very quick, even in the middle of January. 3. This spring, they mulched and cleaned my mulch beds for the first time ever, I have always done this myself thinking I can cut costs. It is totally worth it to let professionals do this. As you can see from the pictures, the level of detail in every mulch bed is something I can't achieve. They also buried the downspouts, this helps tremendously to control water from coming in the basement. This was done two weeks ago, and you can't notice the cuts in the grass anymore. The price was reasonable, and the work was done very well. Overall, I give Start to Finish a 5 out of 5 in every aspect of their work. George was willing to work with the ideas that I had for building the fire pit and patio.  He was very responsive during the project when I would stop him and ask questions, or suggest a different way to do the layout and design.  The patio and fire pit turned out nicely.  On the lawn work - seeding, mulching, leveling - I felt that George was trying to get done and get to another job, and maybe didn't spend as much time and care as I would have liked.  If you hire him for a job, be aware that he is pretty much a one man show, and is sometimes slow to respond to emails and calls, and can get behind schedule quickly when the weather is bad.

"Purchases the Angie's list deal and received e-mail indicating approximately when the first application would be done.  I wanted additional information regarding the types of products used, how the company would assure the fertilizer/weed killer didn't get on flower beds and concrete as well as how safe was it to have the dog on the yard after application.  The office called me and we discussed and I asked that I be notified the day before each application so to assure the dog was not in the back yard and that we would know to keep him off the grass. 
The first application was applied and I was notified with a note in my door and a plastic stake in my yard upon arrival home that night after the first application. The note indicated no one answered the door so they left the note outlining that days treatment in the door.  My adult daughter had just graduated from college and was home when the lawn was treated and she indicated no one rang the doorbell or knocked.  I never heard from the company one time all summer before they came. I saw great improvement in the yard, especially the weeds, during the first half of the summer.  Toward the end of the summer the weeds started to really show up again.  I called and left a message with the company asking when the next treatment was to be done and indicating my concern over the increase in weeds. I didn't hear back.  Approximately three weeks later I called again and left a message again asking for a reply e-mail (left e-mail address) or call to let me know when the next application would be applied.  I never heard back.  The third attempt I e-mailed the company but still didn't receive a reply. 
It just happened I was home the day when the final application was made to the lawn this fall.  They didn't ring the door bell or knock on the door.  He applied the treatment and I watched this time and the flower beds were not avoided nor was the concrete or deck in the back and front yard.  I met the man at the door when he was slipping the receipt into the door and again it indicated that no one answered the door.
Overall the treatments were fine but toward the end of the summer the lawn begin looking bad again.  The lack of communication when specifically requested is the reason I will not hire this company again.  This lack of communication to some would be plus but to me I feel as the customer if I ask to be kept informed the company should do so.

"They did great. We had them clean our flowerbed and they pulled all overgrown dead weeds. They also trimmed trees and hauled it all way. They are knowledgeable. In fact I am using them again and they will probably come on March or April."
