I had a gas leak last week in the heart of the coldest weather in ten years: PSE&G just shut off the gas and left; and Alex was the only plumber who responded, to my urgent calls for help as the house cooled down. He was reassuring, came that day to take a look, arrived punctually with a helper the next day, and did a 3-hour repair (it involved work outside and in a crawl space) quickly, efficiently, and professionally. He cleaned up thoroughly, and left me with heat back on and hot water restored. PSE&G came the next day to remove the red tag and approve his work. All this for a third of the price the big companies wanted to charge me! "Miek came in and let me know a repair will be a few hundred and it may work for a couple of days or years. he informed me that there was a lot of crap on the bottom of the talk so its time was ending, or replace it. I went with the repair and for months it all worked. Then the sad day came when I had to replace the tank. Mike and his assisant were great!! They were polite and made sure everything was the way they found it (frankly it was probably cleaner than he found it). I HIGHLY recommend him. They got back to us right away and were able to get to us, on a Saturday, within 2 hours. We were told who was coming and when and they knew the details of the water in our town (high pressure from the curb) as well as offering to put our heater on blocks because they knew there is flooding in our area. They were very polite, cleaned up extremely well and most importantly did a great job with the install. We had them come back a week later to work on our bathroom faucets and will continue to use them going forward."
