"We could not be happier with Tom and his son Tom. Over the years we have had many projects done and have been fortunate to always have good quality work and honest contractors. All that said, Thomas Martin's tops the list! When I first met Tom (I found his name on Angies List and was impressed by reviews) he came to our home for an estimate on a master bath remodel. I knew what I wished for but was not certain it could be done. His ideas and suggestions were phenomenal, and the "finished product" has far exceeded my hopes! He knows what will work and what won't, what will look good or not, and provides invaluable guidance in making great choices that keep you within budget. We were so impressed with the bath that we asked his advice on what could be done economically to our kitchen. Again I told him what I had in mind....or rather hoped for....but our budget was now limited. They were able to do a remarkable job of painting and glazing existing oak cabinets (they now look new) and replaced a tile backsplash that simply "did not go" with our granite counter tops. The tile he suggested from day one was something I did not think I'd like, but he kept showing me pictures and telling me how nice it would look against the granite (I will add here that he is NEVER pushy). I ultimately decided he was right (also remembering the fabulous master bath), and the kitchen now looks fabulous! We have the look of a brand new high-end kitchen for a fraction of the cost!
The two Toms are a pleasure to work with and a pleasure to have in our home. The quality of their work is phenomenal, and their honesty, integrity and work ethic are unsurpassed. We will most definitely be having them work on our home again. We actually kind of miss them when their "project" is completed ;) !

"We used RPB Home Improvements to repair our existing front door frame and install a new storm door. They did a great job with the frame repair as well as the storm door install. "I own a commercial property and the floor was sinking in. This is probably due to the foundation becoming soft and the sub floor beams rotting. This building was built in the 40s. We contacted Handyman on call and he took care of everything including dealing with the building inspector. We decided to go with Handyman since he seemed the most competent. The work took a little long to commence but that was due primarily to the county inspection process. Handyman ripped out the entire floor including the old beams. Unlike modern construction methods, the floor was not a single slab of concrete. Handyman mixed the concrete on-site and poured it there. When the work commenced and there were questions, contacting the owner was easy and he always responded promptly. As the flooring work progressed, it was discovered that a drainage pipe needed replacement in addition to the bathroom needing widening to conform with the American Disabilities Act. There really needs to be exceptions for small businesses to be exempt from this because this forced us to spend another several thousand and more. The county inspector was pretty good in that he inspected the place regularly. Handyman knocked down a wall and merged the two bathrooms into one. The bathroom is now wide enough to accomodate a wheelchair and has hand rails. The new flooring in the kitchen area looks nice. At the request of our tenant, the walk in refrigerator was able to be saved. Handyman was able to keep the refrigerator in place and worked around it. I would hire Handyman again.

"We recently bought a foreclosed home that was in need of several repairs. I contacted Luckel Contracting and they got back to me the same day. Larry was very professional and honest. He made recommendations on how to approach the fixes with my budget in mind.

Larry and his crew painted several rooms in my home (including patching) and they look fantastic. I've had many experiences with painters and his crew did the best job I've seen. He also came back to fix nail pops in the ceiling, just to make it look nicer.

They also installed a ceiling fan, changed all the door locks, and did some other small, "handyman" fixes.

The price was very reasonable and it was all discussed prior to origination of the work.

The best part is that Larry's skill set is vast, so he was able to handle any "one off" project I threw at him.

Overall, I'm very please and we will be using Luckel Contracting with more projects as we get settled in.
