HFOMN were easy to get ahold of and were informative and responsive. They were able to widen the boundaries to fit our needs, and while the training in the first week was certainly time consuming, the result was well worth it! I am extremely pleased, and would recommend to all pet owners that don’t want a physical fence, but also don’t believe in tying up their fur-babies. "The project went very well.  Storm damage caused by two trees coming down on two sides of the fence was repaired in 2-3 hours.  The workers reviewed all needed work from the estimate prior to beginning the work.  They even volunteered to replace a top rail from another section of the fence, not included in the estimate, that had been bent in a storm many years before.   The workers were very thorough, did not damage any plants or grass around the damaged areas and cleaned up after themselves.  The workers were knowledgeable and polite.   They made sure everything was nice and straight!  Everything looked very nice when they were finished.  The workers were approximately an hour late from the start time I had been given.  I called and was told they had gotten a late start.  Their good work made up for the lateness.

"We originally spoke to Peckel and two other contractors in 2009 for an estimate on a new fence, but had decided to hold off on installing one that year. When we decided to go ahead with it this year, we only called Peckels due to the great service we received last year, including the amount of time they had spent with us talking about our plans/options and the very detailed estimate/plans we had received. When they arrived to update our estimate, they had the original plan/estimate in hand and were able to recall our discussion from a year before! We discussed some changes we wanted, some problem areas we hoped they could address, and also were told about this great buy on tongue and groove cedar they had recently received. Due to changes to our original fence design and the great buy on wood, the estimate came down almost $2000, so we were very pleased. They also noted that we had dogs, so that they would have to work fast to get the old fence down and the new one up. They estimated they could begin the work in 3 weeks and were right on target. They removed our old chain link and installed the new posts in about a day and half. The cement work around the base of the posts was very professionally finished off and the posts were perfectly aligned. As they began the fence installation, they ran into a few problems in our yard that changed the originally plan, but made sure to reach out to us to discuss our options befpre proceeding. The fence installation took about 2? days, and we couldn't be happier! Our yard is not level, sloping down in one corner, and they did an incredible job adjusting the fence to match the slope while keeping the top line laser leveled. We also had requested a double gate along the back to allow us to open up the fence to throw snow off our driveway, and they created a great double gate for just that. They knew the reason for the new fence was one of our dogs, who fancies himself an escape artist, and took great care to ensure any opening was small enough to prevent his escape (so far he has searched every corner with no success!). They also took great care to finish off our neighbors chain links fences to not leave any gaps for them, which we (and they) greatly appreciated. The finished product is great! We love the look of it and the craftmanship! Everyone we dealt with at Peckels was professional and considerate - always thanking us for the work. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a contractor, and would definitely recommend them to friends/family or hire them again."

"Our experience with Hal was excellent.  Before any of the work began we met with Hal a couple of times to describe our needs and discuss design options.  Hal is a good listener and after our meetings he proposed ideas that immediately reflected that.  During the job he kept in regular contact with us and solicited our preferences when situational design or construction decisions needed to be made.  Hal and his crew were always courteous, friendly and very pleasant to have working around the home.  They were also very trustworthy.  The main thing that drew us to Hal was that each job he does is a custom design and is piece-built, no pre-fab.  Hal is truly a craftsman which is very rare to find. Hal used high quality, sturdy materials. The fence is straight, solid, and very pleasing to the eye. "After getting a bid from Cady this summer, I hired them to do some work on my house (clean gutters, install gutter covers I'd purchased and fix a piece of siding). They agreed to do the work on September 10 at 1:00 p.m. They didn't show, and they didn't return my calls over the next couple of days. I felt they wasted my time. I gave them an F rating here and moved on to look for other handyman companies. Except that finding another company turned out to be easier said than done (the ones I contacted didn't serve my area or didn't want to do work on a 2-story house or were booked for months). A week later, my contact at Cady called to apologize. He said he'd gone out of town and the people back at the office dropped the ball. He offered to do the work for a reduced fee. I hadn't hired another company and was starting to wonder if I'd find one before winter, so I agreed to hire them. Two workers showed up as promised on September 21. They did a great job and were knowledgeable and personable. My husband and I were very happy with the work, and we would hire them again.

"Two man crew and a supervisor occasionally showed up, but the two men were BETTER then i had every anticipated.
I'm not sure how long the two men that installed my eGress have been doing this kind of work, or how long they have been working for Greene Construction Inc, but they have been trianed in great.
They took very good care of my home and of my property, the detail of the exterior and the interior is a wonderful addition to my home.
 I had choice to go with a wooden treated exterior WELL , instead of the metal one, so again the two men crew hand dug the hole, CUT a hole into my house, as i came and went, I seen them use what seem to be 3 different types insulation around the window, some kind of thick tape, some kind of wired sticky expanding foam, and what ever else, and small pebbles rocks which are about 10 inchs below the very bottom of the new installed eGress window.
Just two days after the job, we had some serious rain, and i had no fear to my home, but 3 hours after the rain had stop, I went to the exterior to check just how the new WELL had head up, if it had any water pooled, and as the crew told me, there should not be, and there was none.
SO would i use Greene Construction Inc, again, YES, would i recommend to friends or others, YES.
