"I obtained an estimate of $750 for repairs for leaks around chimney areas on my roof after an inspection of my roof. The repairman came within 2 weeks and spent 2.5 hours on the roof. He was very friendly and assured me that the leak areas had been repaired. I was surprised that the work was done in 2.5 hours since the estimate was $750. I did not immediately pay due to the unexpected $300 per hour charge. I called and discussed this situation with the company and was assured that this was their expected rate and that the estimate was correct. They said this was their standard cost structure. "It is necessary to charge this manhour rate to cover their company overhead" This answer was not satisfying to me, but since I had signed the quote, I provided a check to them for the full $750."

"I had written a not so great review for Victor's Home Solutions after receiving no response from writing them an email and calling back in 2023 when the roof was done. The review got a response where direct contact did not. They agreed to pay me for my time (as long as I removed the review) after I collected more than 50 roofing nails from around my property and in my gutters, and also sharp metal flashing in the yard. They also destroyed most of the gutter guards that according to the contract, were supposed to be taken off and saved. Most were ruined after being ripped off, not unscrewed. I found them in the dumpster. I contacted them a month ago as my basement has flooded a few times, most recently with the rain in March. The shingles come over the gutters 3 inches in most spots. "Had water rushing in via heater roof vent. 3 am rain let up. Called precision roofing next day. came out following day to examine and give estimate. Set appt. Rain forecasted prior to appt. John? Came out with worker and sealed off any leaks to keep us dry until appt. Precision called prior to arrival, came when stated, completely reconstructed a ten x ten area of roof ( had been leaking prior and had handyman â stopâ the leak , coming into the powder room near the furnace) removed and replaced damp insulation , replaced all cheap plastic roof vents and sealed all (Pretty expensive custom modular home ) laid ice shield , and buttoned it all up. Took pictures all along the work being done, and included them with invoice . We had questions concerning original invoice and estimate. Mixup had taken place at contract signing. Spoke with secretary and asked for a paper copy of invoice as it was difficult to see on I phone ( no computer) she actually came to our home and hand delivered it upon reviewing it , We asked for an appt with one of the owners , either Jason or John and secretary , who was very pleasant, said she will talk to them and set it up. Not only did she set it up, but John called me and we went over the bill line by line. We then understood all of it and thanked him for a job well done . He said they would send us a meal gift card at our restaurant of choice, for the hassle of the misunderstanding when estimate was presented. Precision nut only sent a gift card, but both brothers came to our home to give it to us personally. WHO DOES THAT??? That kind of consideration is unheard of anymore , but they wanted us to be totally satisfied. WHICH We certainly are. I must add that precision did not attach a charge for coming out prior to roofing appt and sealing off any leaks prior to the heavy rain that came shortly thereafter. The personal service given was beyond any expectation. The owners of precision roofing were kind to us over 75 and 88 year old seniors. They were very respectful, and patient, as were their laborers. They didnâ t waste time. They came in, did the work, going beyond what was expected, and cleaned up everything . We would certainly highly recommend precision roofing to anyone who needs the work done and appreciates old time work ethics, patience and respect."

Since it was going to rain before they could get to the job they came out and patched all the holes they could and covered areas that needed covering. On the day of work they diligently covered everything with tarp around the outside and put protective boards up around the windows. Am I able to complete my small Royal oak bungalow in 3 and 1/2 hours?."

"I had Martino Home Improvements replace my roof back in 2020, which the initial installation had a fair amount of issues ranging from improper tarping of the roof during the installation, which ended up with rain pouring into my house when it rained. Since the repair I have now had leaks and in multiple places along with improper venting, which has meant rusty nails and ice forming on nails, after spending 30k on the replacement they are now looking for another 1,450 to add more venting to fix their install. I am not impressed and wouldn't recommend them."

"I was very happy with my experience with Rock Solid Exteriors. First I met Levi when he came out (in the rain) to look at my roof and provided a great estimate. Next I spoke with Tammie in the office to get the process moving forward. My project got scheduled quickly and within a week I was meeting the Brian, Luke and the rest of the team at my home. The roofing team did a great job of protecting my patio and landscape. Each time I came outside to see what work was going on, Brian answered any questions I had. Once they were done they cleaned up and as I walked the yard with them and each time I asked a question or pointed something out they patiently answered all questions.
