Today, we have multiple locations in three states, and serve thousands of happy customers. We offer pest control; termite treatments and warranties; mosquito, flea & tick control; WDIs (real estate inspections); lawn fertilization & weed control; TAP insulation; and wildlife solutions for homeowners and businesses in the mid-Atlantic.
"PestNow was hired to inspect our house for termites. This was required by the lender of the family buying our house. PestNow found a pile of wood leaning up against a deck column they said needed repair due to termite damage. PestNow also required the entire house be treated. There were no termites found anywhere other than the pile of wood, according to PestNow. They quoted us for over $800 to treat the house. We questioned the need and amount so they lowered it to $580. As a result of PestNow stating they found termites in the deck column, the lender of the buyers required the deck column be repaired due to termite damage. The deck repair company assessed the deck column agreeing it needed to be repaired, but not due to termites, rather moisture. I question whether PestNow found termites at all. Their unethical tactics cost us well over $1,000. Beware of PestNow."

I spent over $12,000 and took on a $150 quarterly maintenance plan to get rid of the mice. The company replaced all insulation in my attic and other areas. Also, the company told me they sealed all holes that the mice might use to enter the house. Over the past year, I have complained repeatedly about the mice still roaming around in my house. Most times, an agent would come to the house, look around the outside and place glue traps in areas inside the house. These are amateurish actions I could undertake myself. "Sheldon Faison F.A.C.E.S. LLC served as my inspector during the month of August in regards to closing on my property. Since then -- and barely a month later, I experienced issues in regards to the heating system. I paid to update it and was informed I would need to replace the HVAC unit completely before the end of the year (*this is noticeable because the HVAC unit was perhaps the first thing I inquired with you about but I was told not to worry about it and that the system was still "good"*). Note that this will cost approximately $6,000 - $10,000 in addition to the $1,000 I've already paid. Secondly, we are now in the month of March--I haven't been in my home for a full year and already, there are issues with water leaking from the third floor bathroom unto the living room floor. If one actually looks closely, there appears to be a very obvious bulge in the living room ceiling that was there since the day of closing. I reviewed the report and while it does mention issues with ceiling drywall not being sealed properly, this was not mentioned during the walkthrough and no added importance given to this issue versus less serious issues being given high importance during the walk though despite this inspector placing a great importance on explaining things to the minutiae. There were also issues with the toilet running that resulted in a higher than normal water bill for a few months that I also had to account for and again--this was not mentioned in the inspection report. I am sure there are quite more issues that haven't come to light yet but as a first time homeowner-- it is extremely disappointing to me that these items were not factored in the inspection report as this would have made all the difference in my decision to purchase this home."
