Get matched with top window repair pros in Mount Vernon, NY

"2nd time I’ve hired Diego to make a custom glass door for a bathtub. His workmanship is excellent and that of a perfectionist. Very clean. Goes over all of the details before doing the project, gives a quote on the price, and then keeps to the timeline to get the job done. No fuss. No mess. Can’t ask for anything more."

"Fratto Home Improvement and Repair has been our go-to general contractor for several years. Mr. Fratto's work ethic, professionalism, skill level, and punctuality can only be matched by his warm and friendly personality, and a natural talent for customer service, which make him a pleasure to work with. We live in a pre-war building the NYC metropolitan area, and our bathroom renovation involved complete gutting, as well as dealing with many quirky elements often found in older buildings. Mr. Fratto guided us through the entire project from the initial fixture and material choices to the final decorative touches. He stayed within the planned budget and made sure that we were comfortable and informed every step of the way. It is also important to note that the bathroom in question is the only one in our home, yet because of Mr. Fratto's careful planning and methodical approach, we were able to continue using it through the entire project. We feel very comfortable recommending Fratto Home Improvement and repair to anyone interested in a bathroom renovation, kitchen renovation, or any other home improvement project."

"Everything was done great except some defective screens. Also My lawn by the window was muddied up and I need to have fixed."

"James and Lou have done multiple projects in my home. These include installing bars in the showers, installing a shower head, vacuuming out the clothes dryer, fixing drawers, replacing a door knob, and repairing stairs. They are always courteous and knowledgeable . I endorse them highly."

"I needed to get a new picture window for my dining room. After a bunch of research I settled on Pella windows. After reaching out I was put in contact with Ralph Ruggiero. He was incredible to work with, walking me through all their options and helping me settle on the perfect window. I highly recommend you reach out to Ralph for any window or door needs. He really is A+++"

"I was incredibly happy with the service provided, repairing my floor to ceiling mirror. Very, very professional, came twice (once to look at the shattered mirror, and came back a second time to repair the mirror); was on time both times. Turnaround time on the repair was quite short. Did a really beautiful job. Very reliable. Of the 15 quotes I received from various craftsmen, their quote was quite decent. I was extremely happy with Uru Glassworks, and definitely would recommend using this company."

"Window King is one of the top rated window contractors in my area, so I scheduled an appointment with them, as well as with the other two top rated companies. I met with Window King first, and immediately liked their punctuality and professionalism. Nick, the owner, is very personable. Anyone would appreciate his no pressure sales approach. I know I did. Even after being in the business for so many years, he understands that most of us know nothing about windows and so he takes his time discussing our wants and needs, his products, and by the end of the appointment he provides a thoughtful recommendation and quote. Note, all this is done without overwhelming us with too many facts and numbers. Yes, he mentioned the values and stood behind the quality of his products when compared to the BIG NAME BRAND windows, but he preferred we take the fact sheets provided and do our own comparisons (which I was going to do anyway). I'm a skeptic so I was going to do my own comparisons. After meeting with the other top rated contractors, I decided to go with Window King for the following reasons: 1) OKNA 500 series window's ratings are equal to or better than almost any replacement double hung window out there. 2) Window King's quote was cheaper and included more work than his competition, even when comparing the exact window. 3) OKNA manufacturer Lifetime Warranty. 4) Years in business. 5) Work isn't subcontracted. I was not disappointed with the installation. In fact, I was very happy. The crew was punctual, professional, courteous, and they finished in 2 days which was amazing considering the scope of the project. Their attention to detail was second to none. The windows were installed properly, they cleaned up after themselves, and made sure we understood how to operate the windows before leaving. During the install, Nick even stopped in to make sure we were satisfied. I'm planning on installing a bow window in my den by next year, so I'll be using them again without a doubt. I will not hesitate recommending them to friends and family."

"Handymack (Mack Rubio) Handyman Services was efficient, dedicated to the projects, professional and cleaned up after the job. He repaired 2 exterior French doors - needed new sweeps - completed beautifully. Repaired/cut 2 interior doors successfully. This Gentleman and his helpers were courteous, neat, friendly and efficient. Very satisfied customer. Thank You."

"Everything about Brothers Aluminum far exceeded our expectations. They were simply excellent from start to finish - great service, quality, professionalism, pricing. They are some of the nicest, most professional, personable and customer-focused company's we've ever hired. We're so happy we selected them to handle our window and siding project. They replaced 27 windows and 5 patio doors and removed and replaced all of our siding and gutters. Teddy, the CEO, came to discuss the project with us on a few occasions, helped us make the right choices in terms of window models/styles and siding types, laid out everything as far timing, costs, financing options, etc. and were a delight to work with throughout the entirety of the project. They executed each phase of the project flawlessly, coordinated deliveries, communicated every step of the way, and conducted everything on time and on budget as promised. Their crews - both the window crew led by Gino; and their siding crew led by Manuel - were some of the best crews I've ever had work in/on our home. They showed up on time every day, were supremely competent in their duties, maintained a clean job site and were a delight to be around. Brothers Aluminum is the only option you should be considering for your home improvement needs. They were so wonderful to work with, I wish I had more work to give them. We're 1000% satisfied and am sure you will be too."
