"I have a large hillside in my backyard and some of the sprinkler heads were not very efficient.  I called and Robert Walker Landscape took information from me over the phone and came up with a estimate of cost and what needed to be done.  He came out on time and brought enough of the new sprinkler heads that he could replace some and also close off some of the lines that were not needed.
The new sprinkler heads are more heavy duty and do not leak as my old ones did.  We were very happy with the service that we received and would use them again when it is time to do other areas of my yard.

"We interviewed a number of landscapers prior to meeting with Gwyny, the owner of Bottoms Up Gardens.  However, none of the other landscapers quite matched Gwyny?s knowledge and level of expertise for creating a drought-free landscape.  Once we agreed to pursue with her services, Gwyny set up a date for service.  Gwyny and her entire crew arrived promptly at 8 a.m. (the agreed upon time), and went right to work. Although there was some noise with the rototiller, there was almost no sound from the backyard once it was turned off??as each member of the crew quietly worked in harmony to complete the project.  Before leaving, the crew cleaned off every speck of dirt from our driveway.
All in all, Bottoms Ups performed a superb job with our landscape!

Over the phone I was quoted $120, but once Luis saw the amount of work he told me $175.  He made it clear that they mainly do commercial projects, but he could work on my job if I was interested.  He seemed very knowledgeable and was able to identify the trees and plants I had instantly.

I chose someone else who was a little less expensive and seemed to concentrate more on residential gardening even though I believe Garden Works could have done a perfectly fine job.

"First of all, this guy is a certificated ARBORIST! He knows trees!  This was very important to me.  I didn't want "some guy with a chainsaw" to tell me the trees had to come down.  
After looking over the trees and their location, he told me that the trees would continue their secondary growth and that growth would push up the pavers in the yard, and even if the pavers were reinstalled the secondary growth would push them up again over time.  He gave me some options to consider.
He is based out of central Orange County and because of distance, he declined to do work in Bellflower which was disappointing.
