"I had a very bad situation with my front door and it needed to br replace. Drew Heidrich took the time and was particular with the prep work. He popped that new door in in 5 minutes! Drew was very ingenious with problem solving and showed himself as a skilled, experienced, custom carpenter. I found him to be very receptive and easy to work with. I have more projects in store and definitely hire Drew again. I still get tingles when i use the door! Superior job!! Thanks Drew!!!"

"Excellent experience. Professional, timely, knowledgeable, and friendly. Through the whole process, Aaron was always available and approachable. The project was started and was completed on time and according to budget. The project came out wonderful. He would talk to us through the project, explain the process and give us updates. Great experience. Even after they were done, he still communicated questions and concerns. I have no hesitations recommending or hiring this team again."

Yes, cedar is a great choice for decking material. It offers a timeless look and natural resistance to decay and insect damage. Keep in mind that cedar requires regular maintenance, like resealing and cleaning, to keep it in top shape. No, cedar is not pressure-treated because it contains oils and tannins that naturally resist insect damage, rot, and decay. With regular maintenance, including annual cleaning and resealing every two to three years, cedar maintains its structural integrity and pleasing appearance for 10 to 15 years or more. Cedar’s natural durability, without need for chemical treatments, makes it an environmentally friendly option for outdoor structures like decks.

You should stain or seal your cedar deck every two to three years to maintain its appearance and longevity. This helps protect the wood from moisture, mold, and environmental damage, preserving its natural color and extending its lifespan.
