"Larry was very responsive when I called (we both had to leave a couple messages before we got in touch), and we scheduled a time for him to come over that same week. When I told him what needed to be done, specifically the garbage disposer, he made sure he would have all the proper equipment before coming over so that he wouldn't have to go to the store in the middle of the job. I really appreciated that. He was on time and very courteous when he arrived (and very nice to my 18mo daughter who kept trying to engage him in "conversation"). The projects took a little longer than I expected (about 5 hours), but I didn't mind since I knew he was being thorough. For each project he read through the instructions before starting. and he seemed to be very meticulous. I also liked that he realized his shoes might be dirty (since it was a rainy day), so he asked me if I had a cloth I could put down so that he didn't get the floor dirty. He charges $45/hour, and I think that is a very reasonable price. After a couple days, I noticed that there was some water leaking under the sink when I ran the dishwasher. I called him back and we scheduled another day for him to come take another look at it. Again, he was prompt and courteous. He fixed the tiny leak by changing part of the pipe, and thoroughly checked the entire area for anymore leaks. It took him about an hour and he didn't charge anything for this visit."

"Bill from Fine Point Painting first stopped by to perform an estimate. I am a newbie when it comes to painting jargon so Bill was quite helpful in his explanation of the various sheen types (flat, satin, eggshell, semi gloss etc.) and which sheen would look good in which areas. I also discussed a couple of options with him (like should I paint the ceilings or not) and he was again quite helpful with his suggestions.
He sent me the estimate the next morning and it was a very competitive price so I decided to go for it. The work was for 3 painters for 2 days and I used the Angie's list coupons.
On both days, Bill and team showed up very promptly. There were thorough professionals and knew exactly what to do. They bunched up all the furniture and covered it, covered the floors, removed the wall panels for all plug points in the wall, removed curtains. They cleaned all surfaces, patched holes, spot primed the patches and did a great job with the painting. The job was completed on time and I am very impressed with the quality of work.
I will definitely hire them again (thinking of painting the bedrooms and bathrooms next as well as the exterior)
