"Got an estimate beginning of may. 8 weeks later after putting half down his crew showed up late. First Shay decided I needed more work. An extra $3k was approximated and I asked for estimate emailed. Estimate was $9k more. I rejected the change 4 separate communications and monday morning his crew showed up late tearing up the roof for additional work. I called Shay and stated I rejected change and he told me I must pay extra to restore the roof or he pulls the crew with roof open. Finally rew gets tge roof done after a progress payment was made using my debit leaving $2k left. I went to buy a cashier check for PAID IN FULL final payment and found 1st Choice had gone ahead without my authorization. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I cannot stress this enough! I have never had a contractor curse me out!!!"

So, Gold Standard had to step in and finish the job the other company said was impossible to do without using a crane . The other company sent a new worker that didn’t really know what he was doing and they fired him before the job was finished after already taking three day to do what little they did do and Gold Standard came out and took half a day to finish what the first company claimed wasn’t possible to do without expensive equipment. "

He even let us know places where improvements weren't urgent, even if that meant Perdue making less money from us, which is an uncommon level of integrity. The crew working on the job were also great - reliable, hard-working, tidy, and communicative - we especially appreciated that they asked questions when uncertain on how we'd want particular things handled (e.g. light fixture installation) vs just doing what they thought was best, a pattern we've seen with other contractors. I had heard a lot of good things about Side Pro so I gave them a call. They exceeded all of our expectations. Their receptionist was very helpful and professional and scheduled someone to come do the work in less than one week. The installer arrived on time and cut the hole, installed the block and flashing, caulked around the edge, in about 30 minutes and it looks fantastic. I will definitely recommend and hire Side Pro again for any siding, roofing or painting that I need done in the future."

I’ve been waiting for an update on the siding being painted, touch ups they missed to be fixed, have their interior team fix the walls their crew punched nails through the wall, broke the frame of our kitchen window, and pick up the materials that have been blocking our driveway since the start of the project. It took them three weeks from the initial pick up date I was given for their team to pick up and confirm that the honey bucket had been taken from our property. Of course I had to call them to follow up and actually get it picked up. All of this to basically summarize that if you want your siding done in a timely manner and to work with a cohesive team that values communication and their customers as much as theirs salesman Brad told us they do, then find another company aside from Pacific Exteriors."
