Upon arrival, Frank appeared to use a roller on a stick to take measurements of the carpeted areas of our smallest house ever (retired): three bedrooms & short hallway. (Other rooms are stained concrete or tile.) I did not hear him give me a price until completed: $200 (that was plus the $75 I'd already paid online). Wife was home by that time, and paid him. She says Frank did a superb job, but was surprised by the price. She's always used Stanley Steemer in the past, every couple of years. Between those professional visits, she "spot cleans" with the best upright consumer carpet cleaner she could find. <br /> I liked Frank's idea of turning the thermostat to ON instead of AUTO, to expedite drying. And the booties he gave us in case we needed a bathroom break in the next four hours. I also appreciated that Frank did not do like Stanley Steemer does: try to sell you extras like Scotchgard, pet deodorizer, and doormats for outside your front and back doors.  <br /> As they say, you get what you pay for. <br />"
