"Kachurick Plumbing, LLC, arrived on scheduled time. Work was completed in a timely manner and very clean and professional work ethic. Because of my experience. I had them install/replace my son’s broken garage disposal. He had received the very same high quality of repair and service. Would recommend Kachurick Plumbing to anyone that needed work or repairs completed.👍 "

"Dave Campbell replaced the sewer line on our home in Murrsyville, PA. The job was begun and completed on time, and the grading and seeding of the approximately 50 foot area that was dug up was also completed in a professional and quality manner. "Well let me tell yall to start I took a fat dump 2-3 hours or so lost track of time in there my phone died. I flushed it didnt go down also to add I had to flush while sitting there multiple times cause it filled up. It was coming back up out I ran over to my neighbors had them call Ethan him and Kevin came out Kevin started throwing up as soon as he walked in and had to step outside. I get it though it was bad I was beside Kevin. Ethan went in there and got that mofo unclogged and had it down the drain seemed like 10 minutes or so but I was upchucking last nights dinner out the other side at this point still. Ethan then referred me to clean up services whom came out and cleaned my bathroom up for me I just could not bring myself to it and had to tip them for bearing with the smell I felt so bad. They didnt make me feel embarrassed either about the situation. Will hire again next time I do this."

"Mac did an excellent job for me. He was prompt and very communicative. Told me exactly what he was going to do and the price range I should expect. The final charge was right at the middle of the range. I felt that the price was very fair, if not on the low side, especially for the time he put in and the service quality . My house was built in 1905 and my original clawfoot tub drain needed a drum trap converted to a p-trap. Mac knew his way around my old house plumbing issues — too many to enumerate here. I was extremely satisfied with his work, plus, as a bonus, his assistant Greg, tightened a badly wobbly kitchen faucet for no charge. These guys were personable, friendly, and knowledgable; they were immediately trustworthy. Highly recommend Mac’s Plumbing!! "

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Murrysville, PA

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
