"I have just moved into a new condo that has a fireplace.  Last night we started a fire and I went outside to look at the smoke from the chimney and I realized that small branches from our tree were touching the chimney pot and I quickly doused the fire in the fireplace.  Knowing that I had to have the tree trimmed, I also realized that I should have the fireplace inspected.  I found Top Hat on AL.  I called them and spoke to the owner, Mike,1st he said that he couldn't get to me until after Christmas, then he asked for my address,  he said he was about 15 minutes away and had enough time to come now.  He arrived in 15 minutes, he inspected the inside and outside of the chimney.  While he was on the roof he said that the branches were definitely a problem and asked if I had any big clippers, I do have big clippers and gave them to him.  Mike trimmed all of the branches around the pot that will allow us to have fires for the next couple of months until a tree trimmer can get here. Excellent service and cost ($45.00). <br />"

"Toby came the day I called. He cleaned the fireplace and chimney and did a 21 point inspection. He found the problem was a cracked chimney crown. He came back the next day and did the repairs. He caulked the cracks and sealed the outside of the chimney. He painted the chimney cap. He is very professional and extremely tidy. He provided before and after photos. I would definitely recommend him and will be calling on him again"

"I was concerned about our family room fireplace chimney because of potential seepage of moisture.  I saw a deal on Angie's List  from Bear Svc for a chimney inspection and cleaning and signed up for it.  I guess the deal must have been very popular because the earliest they could sing me up for an appointment was well over a month.  The gentleman that came (sorry, I forgot his name) did an excellent job...was very thorough and professional.  He showed me where the problem was (loose grout near the top of the chimney was the potential source of the moisture leak).  He recommended a masonry firm that could fix the problem.  I also had him and check a second fireplace that we had and also clean out our drier vent.  Price I thought was reasonable.  Did a thorough job and took his time to make sure everything was done right.  Covered the area around where he cleaned the fireplace and did not leave any mess behind which we appreciated.  Would wholeheartedly recommend them and definitely use them again! <br />"

"My dealings with this company went very well.  We had lived in our house 11 years and had never used the fireplace gas log.  I decided I wanted to use it occasionally but wanted to have it inspected and cleaned.  When I called Aynes Enterprises, the lady in the office explained the cost very clearly.  The minimum charge would be $95, and the charge could go up to $159.95 if repairs needed to be made or anything other than a basic inspection and clean.  The work was scheduled, and the serviceman came at the appointed time.  He was very neat, tidy, and pleasant.  He suggested that we add more lava rocks to the base of the fireplace for cosmetic reasons.  I have a good impression of this company and will use them again. <br />"

He even provided a second, more detailed quote after insurance requested an itemized document. I requested 2 different colors of mortar for the stone and brick and he said that wouldn't be a problem. He did more work/diagnostic to the footing of the mailbox than I expected. Rusty is the type of boss/owner who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty along side his crew and I respect that. The custom stone/brick mailbox I chose wasn't an easy task to build; it took skill to get the top portion right. Before the job was complete, he had me come take a glance at the mailbox to make sure it was to my liking. Once it was complete, he wanted to leave the supports overnight and he insisted I not pay him until the next day when he picked the supports up. </p> <p><br /></p> <p>Rusty was a pleasure to work with and you can tell his is a trustworthy, family-oriented business owner (his dad and son are also masons).</p> <br />"

"My father in law had an exterior vent cover that came off the eve of his house. It's an octagonal cover that fell off the house and broke. The house was built in the 50's. I contacted them and they were able to special order me one. Their technician was able to install it and seal it. And did excellent work.. He went all around the yard to make sure everything was just like a turn key operation. I was very impressed with them. It was an excellent price. I took a chance, they were actually the ones that did my father in laws work original work. After talking with them at length, they determined they could special order it. It took a little longer than I expected, but it was no fault of theirs, they were waiting on the manufacturer. It took about a month for them to get the part, but once they got it in they called me and went right out to do the work."
