"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

"John came out to look at a project that had been started by someone else but took way to long and more had been done then I wanted. This was a "so called friend" that was supposed to just lengthen my driveway by one car length but ended up tearing up my driveway and backyard and not doing the job I wanted. John was very attentive to my needs and gave me a price to close all of it up except the carpentry part and he could do it all in 2 weeks. His price was extremely reasonable considering the mess I was left with and he started right away. In less than 2 weeks he completed the project and tied my new wall in with the old one perfectly. "All aspects of the job went as well as it possibly could. The carpenter patched the roof so one couldn’t even tell a chimney had ever been there. The large metal chimney was removed without incident. The gas fireplace insert needed to be cut out so as to preserve the brick encasing the fireplace and the wood mantel. Jim then expertly installed the electric fireplace, doing a beautiful job both solidly securing the new fireplace and making sure the presentation of the fireplace was perfect! It was a pleasure to see someone take meticulous care throughout the entire job, which included thoroughly cleaning up afterwards."

"Given the experience with the roof repair (reviewed herein), I contacted Abalia for help in completing a project I had started: screening in the open front porch to our log cabin. As the entire cabin is constructed of cedar logs, no straight edges, walls, etc. Screening in openings was straight forward (I did most of this), but the porch needed to be segmented (screened-in area, open area) requiring a wall and door to be constructed. Khaled arrived with all the necessary tools (which I did not have), and in short order (4 hours) had constructed the porch divider wall. Very happy with the end product, as we just completed our first warm season with no bugs on the porch!"
