(Two people) 5. They examined the problem and gave me a quote (fair and reasonable) 6. They went to work and resolved the sewer backup issue. Then they went ahead and cleared all the pipes of sludge until the water ran clear. They explained the issue was food residue buildup from the garbage disposal. That made sense since we has done a lot of summer and fall canning and used the disposal extensively. 6. They did a excellent job, very courteous and explained everything along the way. They used plastic to protect the surrounding area charged less than the estimate. 7. This is a family run business. They care about their customers a work hard to resolve the problem to the customers satisfaction. I would use them again and recommend their service."

There was an added charge of $20 for the additional parts, but no added charge for the labor involved. He even examined the third sump pump in the well at the other end of the basement. He pointed out that one was dead too. After watching him replace the main sump pump one, I feel confident enough to replace this one by myself. I would have given Handyman Pros a excellent rating for professionalism, but they did not inform Gary of the amount of water collected near the sump pump. Boots were necessary, but he only had gym shoes. I laid some spare boards that were available to keep his feet dry. Beware: Handyman Pros does not provide sump pumps. They only install what you secure on your own."
