"The job went great. It took two days; the first to remove and dispose of old fiberglass batts and debris and the second to do the attic work. This included: air sealing the attic, fire protection for all recessed lighting in ceiling, fire rated barrier around chimney, constructing and insulating a new hatch for access to attic, creating proper ventilation from soffits (which had been an ongoing problem) and blowing in approximately 18 inches of new cellulose insulation. The workers (four men) arrived on time, worked extremely well as a team and where very meticulous in their clean-up. I was very impressed by their professionalism and experience in completing the job."

"Sean visited our home to give us an estimate on insulating our basement ceiling - he was very genuine and professional and guided us in a different direction; he was straight-forward and explained how our design did not actually need spray foam, and we could do the job ourselves for a whole lot less. "OK. Foam wasn't as uniformly full between studs as with previous 2013 same foam insulation material applied by a Pittsfield, MA similar contractor (no longer in business, apparently). Not a large technical concern.   Pointed out some small partially filled voids at baseboards. Contractor filled them without issue. In fairness quote of June 2016 said 5.5" thickness, not "uniformly full to studs" nor "smooth at studs' faces".   I would have preferred that spray "ripples" were less pronounced.   I don't expect any reduction in insulating effect, sound deadening or air infiltration prevention.  Contractor was flexible with start date when I took a few days longer to get electrical done than originally planned.  Contractor cleaned up after themselves thoroughly.  Arrived at 09:15 and departed at 13:00 for about 450 square foot job.  Minimal equipment trailer and truck "footprint" on driveway."
