"We contacted California Smartscape to give us an estimate on redoing our front and back yards. They had been destroyed by putting a pool in and by a large tree in the front yard that damaged the hardscape. We spoke at length to Richard and Nick about our budget and our ideas for the yard. The proposal they came back with was within our budget and had all the elements we wanted. We were pleasantly surprised because we had contacted others and their proposals were way above budget and did not have the elements we wanted. The crews that came out to do the work were wonderful. They were professional, considerate and respectful. Steve was a great project manager who attended to things as they came up during the work. Ruben was a good crew supervisor. He had a good relationship with his workers. Now that our project is complete, we couldn’t be happier. The whole yard has been transformed into a natural landscape with easy to care for low water plants, low voltage LED lighting and drip irrigation. We even have a small artificial grass lawn in back! If you need landscape work, this is the company I would recommend."

"I called to schedule an appointment and they called me right back.  They quoted $90 front/back for lawn aeration and I made an appointment on memorial day.  They showed up on time and did an outstanding job.  I purchased gypsum and they placed this for me on my lawn after aeration.

"After searching online and interviewing a few contractors we found just do it builders on Angies list. From the beginning we had a very good chemistry with Eric the owner. A factor that was really important to us. My husband and I decided to go with him and we were very pleased with the outcome for our project. As Eric promised the remodel took almost 4 weeks. They remodel our kitchen completely with new cabinets, new granite counter top. We also changed the floors to hardwood floor and we also added recessed lights and few outlets in dining area. What I like the most with this company is that every morning we got a phone call from the project manger in the office about the schedule of every day, we knew exactly when the guys are coming to work and we were updated with the stages of the project. Communication was great and helpful for us. The crew kept our house clean as much as they could. They took the trash every end of the day and really made the process easy and comfortable experience as it can be. I will definitely recommend just do it builders to my family and friends. We are thinking to remodel out bathroom soon and I already contact Eric for a quote. Thanks again for such a beautiful work we love our new kitchen!!

"Although he was quite late in arriving (nearly 2 hours, due to some unforseen paperwork), he did call and let us know that he would be delayed).  When Eric did arrive he was professional and efficient.  As it turned out the dead circuits were all due to a GFI switch (the way they are wired, one outlet gets overloaded and switches off and all the other outlets go off too), so he pushed the GFI switch and it fixed them all.  As it turned out the garbage disposal and the ceiling fan weren't repairable.  Eric installed the new ceiling fan we bought.  He took time and explained what he had done and recommendations on what he couldn't fix (ie new garbage disposal needed).  I would definitely call Eric and Shea Electric for any future electric needs.
