"We have a fairly large house that is predominately tile. Reuben, the technician from Sir Grout, scrubbed/cleaned the tile, recolored the grout, then sealed and buffed all our tile floors. Both Mark, the sales rep, and the technician, Reuben, were really great. Our floors are like the day we bought the house 10 yrs. ago. We had many, many rooms of tile and the quality of the work was really amazing.

Reuben was a pleasure to have in our home. Not only a hard worker but very pleasant, kept to his work and extremely polite. Mark delivered what he promised, on time and in a great manner. "Estimate, planning and execution were good, and the crew worked well to make it least disturbing to us during the work time. Pricing is not the lowest but more in the mid range. Laminate brands listed on their website are not what are offered actually, which surprised us. They primarily use local brands, and the finished work looks very good and much like real wood. Follow up has been just okay, as the checkup after the.job was completed hasn’t happened yet after two months. Maybe too busy with new projects. Will wait and see for their follow up call."

"I reached out to multiple contractors to evaluate and propose a solution for a complex structural problem related to my garage. Specifically, a main structural beam on my covered patio was not properly secured to the structure of the garage. Poor workmanship by a previous contractor had led to leaks in the roof above the beam resulting in rot of the wood framing underneath which eventually led to the failure of the connection between the beam and the framing members in the garage. The beam dropped several inches and damaged the siding and trim on the garage. I called Kephart Handyman after reading their reviews on Angie's List. Barry promptly replied to my inquiry and came to my home to evaluate the problem. After taking some pictures he came back to me quickly with a proposal. There was some uncertainty on what would actually need to be done depending on what his team found when they removed some of the damaged wood. In the end, Barry's team removed and replaced all of the damaged structural framing, roof decking and shingles and added a new support column for the beam. They wrapped the beam to match others on our patio. The quality of their workmanship was very good and the team cleaned up as they did their work. In the end, the job took five days instead of the quoted three days and involved unplanned removal and repair of drywall inside the garage. Barry stood by his estimate and did not charge extra for the added time it took to make the repairs. Overall, I was very satisfied with their work and their ability to find a solution to this complex repair. I would definitely hire Kephart Handyman again and would recommend them to others looking for a professional handyman service. David in Katy"
