"To begin with the salesman told us most of the work would be done outside. Also the molding did not have to be removed. This was all wrong information. They did most of the work indoors. They did not put anything down on my runner or my wood floor. My runner and floors had to be steam cleaned. They destroyed the molding around the windows. The caulking is horrible. They were supposed to send us a survey. It was never sent to us because they knew we were not happy. No one from the company contacted us to see how things went. We have to call a finish contractor to replace the molding. This is not acceptable. I do not recommend this company. "

"Sal and his team are thorough professional who know what they are doing. We just had them remodel two bathrooms. They finished the project on time, worked creatively around our needs and certain surprises discovered only after demolition. They suggested great, pragmatic design options. Everything came out stunningly beautiful, made to our tastes and preferences. Sal worked his magic to fit the whole project within our budget. He also threw in some upgrades we had not initially planned but made made sense during the project. His team took care of clean up after work regularly so we could continue living in the house reasonably comfortably while the work was going on. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, accommodating home improvement contractor who ensures the customer is happy. "

"Inson is a creative genius with a superb eye. He did everything with meticulous detail and completely transformed our apartment into an amazing, gorgeous home. We enjoy entertaining, and our friends love coming over, always remarking how beautiful and inviting our home is- and that was exactly what we wanted, except Inson brilliantly upgraded our concept, within budget and on time (even with our aggressive timeline because we needed to be out of our old place and into our new within months!). Inson’s team was also great to work with - always polite and professional. We highly recommend Inson and plan on working with him again on our Hamptons home!"

FAQs for walk in tub installation and replacement projects in New Brunswick, NJ

Because Medicare classifies walk-in tubs as non-durable medical equipment, it generally won’t pick up the tab. Medicaid can help if a doctor certifies that the tub is medically necessary, but rules change by state. Call your plan early, ask which forms you need, and keep any prescriptions or letters on file to improve your odds of reimbursement.

A walk-in bathtub’s fill and drain times hinge on your home’s water pressure and the tub’s hardware. Most models with a fast-fill faucet need about six to eight minutes to fill and two to three minutes to drain; larger basins or standard drains can tack on an extra 10 minutes. Stay seated until the water is completely gone so you don’t swing the door open on a full tub’s worth of water.

A walk-in bathtub holds 50 gallons of water, and its design supports capacities that range from 40 to 80 gallons, depending on the product. In contrast, a standard bathtub holds 25 to 45 gallons. This capacity is determined by the fixed design of the tub and its construction materials. Homeowners should review the detailed product specifications to confirm the exact volume available for use during bath time.

Walk-in tubs are tax-deductible when the purchase qualifies as a necessary medical expense and meets the IRS criteria. Caregivers who install a walk-in tub also qualify for the Dependent Care Tax Credit under specific conditions. Homeowners must verify these requirements with the IRS and consult a tax professional, as state and program guidelines enforce strict documentation standards for such deductions.
