The kitchen cabinets, countertops, faucet, etc. were completely updated and made the most of the space while being designed in way to fit an over the stove microwave in the future. Future designs were factored into the cabinet layout/installation. He repaired/filled large holes in walls, ceilings, doors left during a move-out and painted the entire apartment to make it fresh and updated where you couldn’t notice the holes anymore. Incorporated all the finishing touches that a realtor identified to complete the renovation. "I need to have a tiled back splash installed and look on here for an contractor to do the work. After reading L&B's reviews, I thought I would give them a call. I called and Berto answered the phone. He scheduled an appointment with me for the next morning for 8:30 AM at 8:15 called and said he was running about 10 mins late. He arrived at 8:35. When over the kitchen walls with him that I wanted subway tile installed on and told him what I was concerned that the wall was not straight and when my new quartz counter top was installed there was about a 3/4" gap on the one end. Berto explained to me what they will do to fix it and that when they are done no one would know it was there. We agreed on a price and I told him that I would have to let him know what date he can start it as I need to have an outlet moved first. I explained to him that as soon as the outlet was moved, I needed it done right away. He said as soon as I had a date from my electrician to give him a call and he would fit me in. A few days later I did and he was able to start the job the day after the outlet was moved. He texted me the day before to let me know what time him and his crew would be at my house. They were right on time, put down protecting and started working right away. The did a GREAT JOB (you can not tell) and cleaned up when they were done. Berto told me that he would be back the next day to grout and caulk the tile. The next day he was right on time and did not rush doing the work. He grouted the tiles, waited a while, wiped it all down and then checked it real good. Once that was done he caulked the top, bottom and sides. I just thought he was going to caulk where the countertop and backsplash met. He explained that you need to caulk all around it to make sure no water can get behind it. I wished I took photos before he did the work so you could have seen what the walls and gap looked like to see what an Excellent JOB him and his team did. That would be the only way you could have appreciate the great job they did. I also like that it was not a big job, but was treated as it was.
