"The servicemen responded to the request for repair of my dishwasher within minutes after it was made. They were at my house within 90 minutes of the initial request on a Sunday, which was in itself remarkable. Once at my home, they thoroughly inspected the appliance and diagnosed the problem, after considering various diagnoses. While here, I mentioned that there was an issue with the circuitboard of my oven range, and they took a look at that without hesitating. They determined that I would need to replace the circuitboard, as no particular repair could be made, and then proceeded to look up the part for me from multiple local parts stores. They provided me with the price for the part and ultimately told me that it was an easy installation that I could likely handle on my own, so as to save me the money on labor. They mentioned that if I needed any assistance, that I could call them and they would be happy to walk me through the installation over the phone. After all this, I was only charged a visit fee which was very reasonable, considering it was a Sunday. Overall, Rays reflects itself as an honest, personable, and competent appliance repair company. I ll be recommending them to friends and colleagues, and will personally use them for future repair needs."

"I called Appliance Doctor as a result of being dissatisfied with the previous repair company. I had called Mary's Appliances before because my oven wasn't working. Nothing worked except the burners (range). They came out and repaired the oven...sort of. After they left, I discovered that although the oven was working, the broiler wasn't, so I called them back because it had only been partially repaired. However, their view was that I had only told them that the oven wasn't working; I hadn't mentioned the broiler; therefore, for them to come out again would be a new service call. I thought this was unfair; I had no idea that fixing the oven wouldn't fix the broiler also. After a bit of arguing, they said if they came out again, they'd waive the $65 service call but not the repair fee. I was not happy with their service, so I looked elsewhere, and that's when I found Appliance Doctor. Even paying for the service call with Appliance Doctor was the same price as Mary's Appliance was with the service call fee waived, so I definitely preferred to try someone I might like as opposed to someone I knew I didn't like. Everything went well -- the repair person came out on time and promptly fixed the broiler, and he was pleasant to deal with. After he was done, I asked him: "If I had called you and told you the oven was broken, and you came and fixed it, and I called you back and said the broiler still wasn't working, would you charge me to come back out and fix it?" He replied, "No, I would not charge you for the service call. I would charge you for the part, but not the call." *That's* what I would expect from an appliance repair service, not the treatment I got from Mary's Appliance. Recently, my washer needed to be repaired, and remembering my good experience with Appliance Doctor, I called them to ask them to come out and fix my washer. Sadly, they no longer service my area."

"George from Appliance Guy was on time and went right to work and was able to identify the blockage problem immediately. He had to remove a number of components from the freezer section of the refrigerator, including the heater that defrosts the ice build-up, and several other pieces. His expertise was evident in getting right to the problem and knowing what had tom be done. He spent approximately an hour on the job. He charged only $75.00! WOW...what a pleasant surprise. Additionally, George also brings a pizza to your door for you tom enjoy while he works. What a neat guy. <br /> Also, as an aside, but important, this was done at a rental property that I own, and while on site, the tenant had a dryer that wasn't working properly and mentioned this to George who offered to look at it. George declared the thing was beyond repair. The tenant said her mother, who lives down the street,, had a used dryer. George went to look at it and said it could be repaired and also offered to help move it. out of the garage and into the tenant's basement. <br /> How many repairmen do you think would go offer all this. I can guarantee you won't fine a better appliance repair guy than George. Rated AAAA 1111. And, the pizza was great! <br />"

"I called to leave a message regarding an appointment. They work in different areas on different days. I was contacted on Monday and my area day was Wednesday. That was fine, because nothing was an emergency. Don came out even earlier than agreed, which worked out great for me. Oh my fridge the noise was caused by condenser coils hitting the drip pans. He put spacers in the area to realign the coils and stop the vibration. He also cleaned my coils in the back and underneath. I'm disabled, so that was a huge help to me. <br>For the dishwasher, I needed a new soap dispenser, the old one was caked with detergent, and the rinse aid dispenser wasn't sealing properly. He ordered the part after I agreed. It has not come in yet, but he will change it when it does. <br>The dryer was fixed before I even realized it! He replaced a part that controls the heat sensor. I've forgotten what it's called. No time wasted there. <br> <br>I have worked with this company for 40 years. Don's dad owned it before him. The prices are reasonable, they don't tell you that something needs to be fixed that doesn't need it. They stand by their work. They are polite, punctual and professional. That's the whole package."
