"We worked with Adrian (owner of MAZ Contractor Services) on bathroom remodeling for both the master bath and guest bathroom. Both of the bathrooms were old and dated. It was a gut job and total renovation for the big bathroom, converting tub/shower combo to a walk-in shower. The second bathroom was remodeled on a budget (new granite countertop, new paint, new LVP flooring, new epoxy paint for the bathroom wall tile, new LED ceiling light). The final results from both bathrooms were BEAUTIFUL! They look high class with high quality finishes, great design and color scheme. We are very happy and satisfied with the remodeling and the price. These are the things that set Adrian and his company/crew apart from other construction groups out there: 1) Once they start the work, they come every day to work on it. If there is a waiting time (for custom countertop or seamless glass installation), they let us know clearly when and why. 2) Their work is high quality! The tile installation is extremely well done (my dad used to work in tiles so I know). Their quote matched our asks and was detailed in sections for each of our asks. Other quotes we received were bundled and we were not able to pair the project down with noticeable savings. The job was completed with in the time the owner committed to and the materials used were good quality . The stain was perfect and the workers were very knowledgeable about the pros and cons of the ideas we had in mind and had several different creative ideas to offer. "Absolutely AMAZING! The owner of the company is Julio Barron. He arrived on time and from the first moment he listened to what I have in mind and I finished, he walked me through his suggestions. He suggested the wifi lighting connected to my phone, and also without asking he came with detail-oriented little things to match my bathroom decoration to the project. He guided my husband to different places for quality and affordable prices to pick materials. He told me the job would take approximately no more than six and a half weeks and he finished in five! In general, very HONEST from the beginning. He asked me how much was my budget and he helped us to work with it. The final job is OUTSTANDING! and 100% recommendation for him and his whole crew! by the way, now they do my plumbing, and my roofing, and for sure next year they will be hired to remodeling my whole kitchen! "They charge entirely too much (30k) for a shower remodel after advertising a bathROOM remodel, lifetime warranty is nice but not that nice. They had massive issues with communication, ordering the correct parts, in short, their office personnel logistically failed. The install team itself was fantastic, very cleanly, very efficient, very friendly. The supervisor was very professional and was there everyday with his guys. The sales lady took about 5hrs to do the estimate which is insane. I only went with everything because I needed the showers up and running."

"I got estimates from three companies, all with good reviews on Angie?s List, to replace the upstairs carpet and stair carpet with laminate.  All three came out to the house to inspect the job site, take measurements and provide quotes.  The quotes ranged from $9k to $7k for the same laminate with Mr. Halfon having the lowest price.  Price was not my only criteria but, since Mr. Halfon had good reviews, an experienced crew and was available to start work as soon as the product arrived, he seemed to be the best choice.   I think the main reason I selected him was that he was ?hands on?.  The other folks I was dealing with were <br /> salesman/estimators and the companies were larger.  I?ve had issues in the past with salesmen/estimators/designers not communicating effectively with the folks who actually do the work.  Mr. Halfon?s crew contacted him whenever there was an issue and he came out to the house while work was in progress.  He responded promptly to my inquiries and quickly addressed my concerns. <br /> Overall, the job was very well done.  After removing the old carpet, they took the time to carefully clean and prep the subfloor.  The upstairs laminate was installed with only one transition at the bathroom door (with bathroom tile) and it looks great.  The only issue was the stairs and that was due to the fact that I selected a laminate that did not have full treads but I insisted on using full treads because I was concerned that raised stair noses would be a tripping hazard.  Mr. Halfon did his best to find full stair noses in a laminate that most closely matched the selected style and his installer did his best to transition between the two laminates as smoothly as possible.  If I were doing it over, I would probably select a laminate that came with full treads and everyone?s job would be easier. <br /> The crew started the job on a Friday, worked Saturday and Monday (holiday) and finished up Tuesday.  They were polite and <br /> efficient and, when the job was done, they carefully put all the furniture back and thoroughly cleaned up.      <br /> <br />"
