He replaced the water heater and when I smelled gas afterwards he double checked all the pipes, including the gas pipes, and fixed the gas leaks, on an old pipe for the gas, immediately. Everything has worked wonderfully since!"

The issue I have is that the company charges $125/hr for labor time, and for 1 pvc trap, a couple feet of 2' pvc, a quarter sheet of plywood, 1 bag of mortar, 6 feet of copper, 3 valves and misc right angles, the charge for materials is $170. I provided my own shower valve which I can buy for $30 or so at Home depot or Lowes, but they said the part costs $60. The business is marking up supplies, which I think is unfair, and had I known I would have supplied more of the parts myself, so as to save money. Thank goodness I had a Living social deal, which probably negated the mark up and saved me a little cash."
