I just didn’t feel like he had a lot of experience but he was here quite awhile, inside and outside the home. Jeremiah said they charged $299 and no mileage fee, but did not mention that the two tests to see if it was black mold would be $700! That was upsetting but you were stuck because you had paid $300 for him to come out. It took a while to get tests back but that wasn't their fault. Just wish we hadn't been blindsided, but otherwise very reliable."

"My husband and I were considering whether to purchase a home that previously had a stucco exterior. The previous owner remediated the stucco and replaced it with Hardie Plank siding. The windows in this home also had issues. We almost walked away from purchasing this home because we were afraid of what was behind the drywall. We called Joe Fiorilli and he took a great deal of time explaining to us what he could do to help us determine if we had lingering mold issues. During the inspection process, Joe took over 10 mold samples throughout the test. The test did come back positive for several molds, including dangerous black mold. Joe gave us a projected estimate for what he thought the remediation would cost. Based on his reasonable estimate, we purchased thee home. Joe's team came in and removed the drywall and insulation to expose the mold and dispose of the material. The team sprayed the plywood which also had previous water damage. The bill was the projected estimate. Thanks to Joe, when we replace and paint the new drywall, we will be living in our "dream house" which we almost didn't purchase. "I had called a contractor to evaluate the problem in my basement which consisted of visible mold growth on drywall and furnishings. He could not determine the cause of the problem and felt it was beyond his expertise. I then called AMD to inspect my home  and the owner, Craig Camel, performed a detailed inspection lasting approx. 4 hours.  He found mold growth not only in the basement but throughout the house and showed me the mold growing behind furniture, under beds, etc.  He submitted a proposal for remediation in a timely manner.  I then contacted another mold remediation company for a second quote which was a bit higher and also involved my contracting for a plumber and HVAC specialist which, aside from the difficulty of finding someone and coordinating the work with the mold remediation, it would also involve extra costs above the quoted price.   As well, his process for remediation was different in some respects from AMD.  I chose AMD primarily because the owner, Craig Camel, seemed extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. <br /> Because of the extent of the problem, the remediation lasted about 2 weeks.  I saw Craig on a daily basis as he checked in on the progress of the work.  He kept a close eye on all the activity.  His staff were wonderful, polite and respectful of my home and understanding of the disruption the work caused and doing their utmost to be as unobtrusive as possible.  Craig also took the time to explain the process in detail and answer my many questions.  The remediation was not a pleasant experience by any means but Craig and his employees made it as smooth as possible.  Honestly, I have never worked with a contractor that was so good. <br />  I am grateful that I used AMD for my mold remediation and I want to thank Craig and his staff for the wonderful service that I received on my home.  The care that they took with my personal belongings, regardless of their value, as well as the knowledge and expertise that they were able to provide throughout the process truly made me feel confident and at ease with the work being done on my home. Not only did they do a fantastic job of getting rid of the mold in my home, but Craig provided me with tons of advice on how to prevent a recurrence of the problem.  As much as it was a joy to work with an honest, professional company such as AMD, I hope I never have to call them again!
