"Labor day weekend, this year, we were hit with a nasty hailstorm. I thought we had escaped unscathed but, then, my neighbors started saying that they needed to have their roofs replaced. That was when I, begrudgingly, figured that it was in my family's best interest to have professionals examine the roof. I hate the process of finding a contractor. Most of them, even if they respond initially, never get back to me. Perhaps it's because I'm female and they don't take me seriously (joke's on them because I execute all of the major financial decisions in my household), but I also suspect that there has been an increasing lack of integrity in the contractor profession, as a whole.
