"Getting the order to come in was a bit delayed and we had to call and ask where is it and when. <br />But otherwise they were quick, neat and the window is truly beautiful! <br />"

"I've used them several times before on small jobs. This was a fairly complex and fairly high-priced job using unusual siding (Cellular PVC), an unusual structure and custom windows and doors. Also subcontracted roof work. The job manager was very responsive and willing to answer all my questions as well as address my concerns. I expanded the scope of work slightly, they ran into unforeseen problems on certain issued (solved them) and they handled it without issue and in a timely manner. The work crew was professional and courteous, also fielding my questions and passing along concerns. If you're reasonable, they are top notch and you WILL get your problems solved. Expect to pay a bit more for them but again, I consider it worthwhile given their reputability and what I see as a guarantee of (reasonable) satisfaction. My recommendation, hire them, be reasonable and don't penny-pinch. They charge more for a reason."

"It went perfectly. I called and spoke to the office immediately. They came out the next day on a Sunday prepared to give an estimate and complete the job. Everything is done. They performed quality work with quality products, very professional, clean-cut, honest, efficient, fair price. We are very happy and highly recommend them."

"The owner, Stan Howard, is a very nice guy and very responsive to questions and needs. He has a full-time crew and the same guys showed up every day on the job. Took about six days to complete, but probably could have been less if the weather had cooperated. One day the crew left early because they were getting hailed on! They came down the ladders with hailstones in their tool belts, but they had still worked for quite a while in to make sure the unfinished parts of the roof were covered and protected. The crew was very pleasant and knew what they were doing. We have a very steep roof slope on parts of our house, so it was always a worry that I would see a roofer fall past a window -- but they didn't have any problems, from what I could tell. Our new architectural shingles are very rich-looking, and they really enhance the appearance of the house. Our gutters are the kind that are supposed to be fastened with straps around them to the roof, but I thought that was ugly and asked if we could have them fastened differently to avoid the straps. They accommodated my request and we now have nicer-looking gutters than before. They removed the old roof vents and installed a ridge vent. We also asked them to install a vent for our new bathroom fan, which they also did. We had a couple of questions/minor adjustments to the gutters that we wanted done, so we called them a week or two after the job was completed, and they were here within a few days to make the requested adjustments. All in all, a very solid job! We are planning on getting in touch with them again in the fall for window replacement."

"Very neat, professional. Work done in a timely manner. Windows are wood inside. Great care taken to exactly match current wood molding in our house. Always responsive to phone calls or any time we had a question. <br /> Purchased high quality windows and glass, hence somewhat high price. Front door with leaded glass sidelights. <br />"

"Very professional, discussed all repairs found upon on tearoff not on estimate. The project manager reviewed all work after the job was completed and discussed everything before the final payoff. Exceptional cleanup, even checked for nails with a magnet and covered up the hot tub. I will definitely hire this company again."

"He came over and measured my whole house. He was real pleasant. He called the building inspector for me. Just really pleasant overall. We are having some walls removed, the kitchen redone, work on the stairs to the attic, and some general remodeling. The entire downstairs is being redone."

"They were way out of line for what I wanted to have done. I had estimates at $17,000 and $25,000 and theirs was at $45,000 and that wasn't counting the appliances. All the others were counting in appliances. They were knowledgeable and knew what they were doing, they've been around a long time."

"We just completed installing a motorized retractable awning from [*** Link removed ***] and are super pleased with the quality of the build, appearance and customer support.? This Italian-designed, engineered and manufactured awning is assembled and shipped from RetractableAwnings.com Florida plant, so if you need assistance with the install, you should contact a local handyman, carpenter or contractor.? Ours is a Palermo Plus, 16 ft. wide, with an 11 ft.-10 in. projection.? The Internet salesperson, Eric Scop, V.P., really worked with us to understand all the options and get fabric swatches.? We ultimately selected a combination Rain/Sun sensor and Vibration sensor to automatically retract the awning in case of heavy rain or excessive wind.? I spoke with Rocky, their installation expert, for advice on preparing the ledger board to attach the awning to our vinyl sided home, right below the soffit.? His advice was instrumental in making the install go so well.? Further, the awning arrived already programmed to the Soliris transmitter and the motor limit switches were also set.? It shipped in a fiberboard box (this one was about 17 ft long and 1 ft x 1 ft square, weighing over 200 lbs.), which was extremely tough.? The truck driver ignored the box orientation stickers and used a hand truck to move it from the center, rather than two hand trucks, one at each end, per the clear placarding on the box.? Despite this, it arrived in great shape, other than a couple minor paint scratches, which we will fix with touchup paint they are sending at no charge.? While the enclosed wall brackets were different from those described in the installation manual (an improved design), installing them was no problem. An extra bracket was included, which we also installed as this will be a large ?sail? on the side of the house and we want it to stay there. We extend our sincere thanks to the team at RetractableAwnings.com, and for those review sites that accept photographs, we include the following photo."
