"This is the second time having Next Plumbing do plumbing work for me. Michael Donahue did the work and the reason I chose to spend money with this company. Michael previously unclogged a bathroom drain, but also helped me troubleshoot a problem with my laundry sewer line. As a result, I hired him to dig a new line which tied into the existing sewer. Micheal is a master plumber who is very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. After pricing the job, he never tried to nickel and dime me with other things required to complete it. The work completed exceeded expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to hire again or recommend to anyone!"

"I had a sewer smell coming in the house occasionally, so Blacks Ops Plumbing called minutes after i submitted my request. We set an appointment for them to come and give me a free estimate on the work that needed to be done. Roger from Black Ops Plumbing came out and looked at ever thing under my home. He said that it was all good and the smell i was getting in the house is from a previous leak before we bought our home. He said seal the holes from pipes going through the floor and that did stop the smell. so no work to be done but a good honest assessment of the system. They did not charge me for the inspection. Thank You all at Black Ops Plumbing for being honest and reliable. You guys' Rock!"

"Apex Plumbing employees, James and Zach, came to my house to repair a water leak that stopped all water service to my house. James came and cleared the lawn covering my pipes. Then Zach came, located the leak and replaced the water pipe serving my house. Unfortnately, The meter showed a continuing leak. James crawled under my house and found an unknown second leak. They eliminated that pipe leak under my house. I now have full water service to my house with no more leaks. Thank you Zach and James for a complete repair of known and unknown leaks. Good job!"

Customers say: Quick response

"They repaired a leaking faucet that was the main shut off valve for the water to the house. The faucet was 35 years old. Technician did a nice job on the repair and adding an extra faucet/spigot for our use. Only issue we had was the cost. Outrageous. They did discuss the fees in advance so we knew what to expect. But with the leak slowly flooding the area, we didn't want to wait for mutiple quotes."

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in New Port Richey, FL

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
