Keith was able to squeeze us in and in only 2 days the tub was gone, the shower installed with glass doors along with our special requests of a lower shower head and hand-held option as well as installing a heat lamp-ventilation fan combo. "At the beginning the work started well but by the end the quality of work especially the drywall was subpar. Tom is slow in getting a quote to you but does respond. Tom is very nice but his staff is not professional especially Dave. I thought with Tom being in business as long as he has would be able to provide in a professional manner quality work. It is not true. Tom asked if I wanted his guys to take up the carpet. I thought ok. However, they tore up to 10 inches of drywall off many of the walls. They attempted to repair them but the work was subpar. I thought they were winding up work so I contacted the painters. The painters came in. There was tension between the paint foreman and Tom's crew. They were squabbling like elementary children on the playground. (I am not happy with the painters either but this is a separate matter) The walls unfortunately got painted with the poor drywall job. The painter did provide a drywall person to repair the worse spots. There are still poor spots on the walls but I wanted Tom and his crew out of my space. Each of the respective parties were blaming each other. This behavior is so unprofessional. On Friday last week, Dave was yelling at me over errors I did in trying to improperly apply color to the walls so I could see what it looked like (I applied the paint way before any drywall began). Again, because of poor communication the painters just painted over the poor drywall job. I did agree to pay for it since it was my mistake that should have been brought to my attention long before it was even painted over. Dave did such a bad job that there were air bubbles in the drywall because he did not let it set before he painted over it. Tom did have his other guy fix it. It looks better but not perfect. I had Tom put two new toilets in the space. There is now a big gash in the brand new floor where the floor doe not meet the toilet. There was not even going to be an attempt on Tom's part to fix this. In my opinion, all of the unnecessary drywall could have been avoided by properly having his guys take up the carpet right to begin with. I paid over $8,000 for unnecessary drywall, If you only have Tom's crew do the bare minimum that you need done for your project, then you are in good shape but BEWARE of them doing anything extra as it will cost you!"

"Prior to project start, the owners were required to visit several locations to select the tile for the shower and tub, tile for the floor, plumbing fixtures including the johns, and granite for the counter tops Work was started on the master bathroom by completely gutting the shower stall. Centennial has craftsmen specializing in certain areas, so the overall quality of work was outstanding. Concrete boards were installed in the shower, then the walls were tiled, the floor tile was laid, the new cabinet installed, the granite countertop installed, all plumbing fixtures installed, the fan/light installed, and the shower door installed. Then the work on the second bathroom was done in much the same manner. Since this bathroom was wall papered, the drywall was ripped out and replaced. Both bathrooms were painted with the owner’s selected color. Finally, workmen installed the owner purchased towel bars, paper holders, medicine cabinets, grab bars, and shower curtain. The carpenter work on the staircase railings and spindles was fantastic. This is quite visible at the home entry door and adds class to the whole house. The whole project was managed by Dave who did a wonderful job supervising the project and keeping us informed when workmen were coming and what they would be doing. At no time during the project did we lack a place to take a shower. The overall price was high and the time to complete the project was too long, but the two bathrooms look absolutely great and we are very pleased with the outcome."

"Everything was amazing!  Mike and Judy were very detail oriented and offered suggestions about layout.  Judy was able to foresee possible problems with some of my ideas and was able to explain how we could accommodate my wishes in a more user-friendly way.  She also offered ideas of features that she and her other clients had put in their kitchens or wished they had put in their kitchens.  For example, she suggested that I have a cabinet dedicated to containing my wastebasket.  She also warned me of features that she knew from experience had not worked out well.  I had the option of having knife holders installed in a drawer.  She knew that people who installed those were not happy with them.  Mike made lots of suggestions about the locations of the lights and of the outlets and switches.  These were things that I would never have thought about.  
She took me to Indianapolis to pick out the granite for my countertop.  She was able to talk the granite supplier into a lower price. Next we went to a tile store to choose my backsplash.  With her help, I was able to choose a backsplash that is PERFECT. After a long day of decision making, Judy took me out to lunch, her treat.
The work was completed in a timely fashion.  Both Mike and Judy made sure that I was happy with everything in the completed project before asking for my final payment.  They even had an amazing gift for me.  They had the granite fabricator make a Lazy Susan out of the granite that was my countertop.  It is gorgeous and useful.  What a wonderful surprise that was.
Judy called me a month or two after the job was finished to make sure that everything was still to my satisfaction and encouraged me to call her if I ever had a problem with any of their work.
When Mike finished the job, he cleaned up all of his work area in my garage so that it looked as though he had never been there.
Who could ask for more??  I am delighted with my new kitchen.
I plan to hire them again to remodel a bathroom.

"They repaired water damage in a bedroom and a bathroom. Did a fabulous job in doing a through and complete repair of the two rooms. John the project manager walked my wife I through planning, selecting materials, fixtures and all the countless things we never thought of. The final result is stunning. Beautiful craftsmanship and work. On final walk through I pointed out a couple minor things I noticed that needed attention. Very nitpicking of me. Those couple of items were addressed quickly and better than I expected or asked for. I recommend working with D R J Construction for quality and stunning workmanship."

"I had two wall sections with damage that needed to be repaired with new drywall and paint. Vitaly from Apex Design Build did a beautiful job on the walls -- I'm very impressed. I hope not to need that skill again any time soon, but I will certainly contact them the next time I need another wall repaired -- it's virtually impossible to tell there had been damage. He also adjusted a ceiling fan that had been installed by a friend (a mistake -- use a professional!) and it took him only 15 minutes. I have always been very impressed by how Apex Design Build cleans up everything when they are done working -- and they even took it away with them. Excellent work and in a timely manner for me."

"This team did excellent work on an unexpectedly challenging project. We had a new slate tile installation done previously that needed sealing and a vintage slate tile area needing cleaned and resealed. This team recognized the previous installers mistakes and fixed the poor grouting and sealed the area. It looks fantastic. The original to the home time, dating to 1968, was cleaned. Then it was discovered that it was not grouted with convential grout but was instead cement. Rather than giving up, the team went above and beyond and ground out the cement. This was tedious work and required delicate handling to not disrupt or damage the vintage slate. They worked at it for days, often with hand tools in delicate areas. They then completed the new grouting and sealing. At the end of the project they intended to keep to the original quote despite all the extra work! It was so well done I insisted on paying them above that for a fair deal. Hire this team for everything."
