Get matched with top lightning protection installers or repairers in New-york, NY

"I feel so much better knowing that I have protection now after the lightning strike we got. This company was professional and before something happens to your home or property I suggest you look into hiring them your home is definitely worth more than it cost to install protection"

"We were contacted immediately regarding adding a lightning protection system on our home. Seamus was very thorough and knowledgeable regarding our concerns. He and his crew showed up and were very professional and efficient. We are very pleased with the installation and highly recommend Donahue’s."

"The company my condo management recommended never showed for the appointment. (Probably thought I needed a light bulb changed and not worth his time!) When incompetents fail, I always find a proven source of outstanding tradespeople on Angie's List. My call to Blaze was answered promptly on Thursday evening. Antonio and Nathan showed up at 8:20AM on Friday morning and spent the next 5 hours assembling and installing a total of 7 light fixtures in the apartment. Patience, professionalism and fair pricing. There's a reason BLAZE has been in business for 40 years. I highly recommend them should you need electrical work done!"

"second job- ceiling fans installed in bedroom"

"Went well repair man was here for less than 45 minutes repaired my lamp switch. He was very nice."

"For the estimate, the boss came over and was prompt arriving. I made sure to ask if he was licensed and insured and he said he was. I showed him the work that needed to be done and gave him a list indicating each thing. A day or two later, I received a written proposal from the company outlining the work to be done and the cost. A day or two after that the work began. However, the boss didn't come, one of his workers did. I wasn't sure if this guy was even licensed. However, he showed up on time and diligently worked throughout the day taking only about 30 min. for lunch. Most of the work he did was very good (but also consisted of simply replacing outlets), but it took a few days to realize that three outlets had not been fixed well. In the kitchen, two had to be remounted. This required the guy to use spackle which, as it turned out, had been layed on too thick and so cracked and buckled over the next week or so as it dried. While replacing the third outlet (in the living room), I later realized that some of the plaster had been knocked away from around the cover plate, so there was a small gaping hole next to it. It would have been nice if he'd repaired this. The worker himself was very nice and a hardworker, so I was disappointed to find out about the spackle/plaster issues. Perhaps if he'd started with the outlets that required spackling first, he would've had time to do several thin layers which would have time to dry, rather than the one thick one that cracked. Overall, I feel like the job was too high priced, compared to similar work done on other houses by other electricians. In terms of the cracked spackle, in hindsight, I should have contacted the company when I first noticed it to tell them about it and give them a chance to correct the matter, but I did not since I thought it was something I could more easily fix myself than carve out time to schedule a repair man to come over."

"The electricians did a pretty good job, were prompt and careful maneuvering the ladder they needed to bring into the unit. Carrie and Jeremy on the phone were very nice and communicated well. Giving 4 stars because the electricians had to come back twice because they got the wrong parts from their supplier and didn’t appear to know which part they needed. For $250/hr I’d expect an electrician to know the right transformer needed for a light and the right bulbs to use. So the actual job to diagnose and fix the issue with the right parts took an hour or less but with all the back and forth with the supplier it became much longer. I had to call the office after the invoice came through and we worked it out. Just wish the guys got it right the first time so the cost would have truly reflected the work."

"City Electric did a great job installing recessed lighting into my living area, installing ceiling fans and replacing old outlets in my house.Yosef was very flexible in working around my availability."

"Very helpful, is flexible on timing, and easily explains and diagnosed our electrical issue"
