"Progresive Restoration did a great job on our condo building. Marcus and his team are extremely hard-working and communicate often. There was never any confusion about our project and they paid attention to every detail from when they started on the estimate to completing the job. Overall great experience working with Progressive Restoration."

"David gave me what I thought was a fair price for the work to be done. He asked for 1/2 up front. As a previous small business owner I did not feel this was unreasonable so I paid him 500.00. He estimated the work would take 3 to four days and I thought the same. After several no shows the "mason" showed up. The first clue was he came in a car. According to my wife he was here 2 hours and left, came back for another 2 hours the next day and left again. He said nothing to my wife about leaving or when he would be back. David called a day later to ask about coming out to look over the job and get the rest of the other 500.00. I said he isn't finished and he's only been here 4 hours. So then I looked up the prevailing wage in IL for a mason and found out it is 28.50 an hour. The next day the guy comes back for another 3 hours. David came to look at the work and I walked him around and showed him all of the places that had not been done. So the guy comes back again for about an hour. All told it was 8 hours work, nothing to write home about but it was agreed up front that I wasn't looking for an exposed brick look. I need it tuck pointed well enough so that I could drylock and paint the exposed brick. I will say this was done in the end. The worker left a mess that I and my wife had to clean up, I pointed this out to David as well. I told him I felt he was overly paid for the amount of work preformed and that was the end of it. It's really to bad. It's difficult to get contractors to do small jobs and I had plenty for him to do. I'm not unhappy, just would not hire again"

"Edwin Torrijos and his team did an excellent job with our roof and siding replacement. The explanation of the work, the estimate, the installation process and clean up after all the work was done was done quickly and very efficiently. Work was done quicker than we expected, and any correspondence was resolved within 24 hours. The roofing guys were friendly and great!"

"It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I was not overly pleased. I did not hear from them for a week or more after I purchased it so I called them. The guy was on a roof and was supposed to call me back. That didn't happen for 3 or 4 days. He said he would call me back because he had several more jobs lined up. It took a couple more phone calls. It took them a long time to get here. I have a very small house so what I was paying was really not that good of a deal for me. The price was the same no matter what the size was. As the winter has progressed, it appears that the work they did wasn't really that great. My soffits are basically coming apart and the down pipe of the gutter has come off already. I would have thought that reattaching a down spout on a gutter would have been part of them cleaning it."

"
I wasn't sure this would end up to be a good idea but, it turned out a very pleasant experience. They did it all from start to finish. They spent the first day and a half gathering the trash and debris left by the tenants. They must have pulled four trailers worth of mess out to the dump. Then they went through the whole place; removing nails from the walls, doing the patchwork on the plaster and lathe (where we wanted it repaired and pulled out where we wanted drywall replaced), sanding all the spots and removing the mess. Then they started in with the heavy repairs in the putting in a couple of windows and hanging the drywall where needed, they taped off all the walls, fixtures and windows to ready it for paint. After painting and waiting for it to dry; then they started outside clearing out the brush and debris left behind. They also worked to dress up the yard with great ideas like window boxes and fresh flowers! . They did all the paint work inside the house and finished up by touching up the outside paint. They went back through the house last time and shampooed the carpets, cleaned the stove and fridge, and put fresh new chalk in all the needed spots. I know I may not have all the right terminology but, these folks Really saved the day! When they left the place was spotless and the time and money we spent was well worth giving up the headache of that mess to someone else and finding they'd done a great job! Wonderful!"

"Lopez Remodeling gave me a free estimate for the repair of the metal fascia and replaced the fascia the same day at an economical price. Mr. Lopez went above and beyond the job required by making sure the other fascia was also secure, adding nails where needed."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Johnny U. to replace a door between my home living area and garage with a proper fire rated door. He responded quickly to my query for estimates and came out personally to see the job, not just doing it all via text as it seems so many do now. He said he would personally work on the job as he always does residential. I live alone and I have to feel comfortable having a workman in my home. Johnny put me at ease. He was fast with a quote and although a bit higher than some other bids it was definitely worth it!! He squeezed me in before my knee surgery, came exactly on time and finished in less time than expected. His workman was also very professional and polite. Both very knowledgeable and personable. He got me the perfect door and even made sure I could get the Menard's rebate! Not many like this guy. Highly recommend for any remodel or similar work."
