"If you are a perfectionist and want a job done that will exceed your expectations, hire Garry Stidham! I recently purchased a 40 year old home in Haile in need of much exterior repair. Garry repaired the deck, fence, screened porch and finally all of the rotten wood on the home itself. He was very knowledgeable with regard to materials and paint needed to restore my home to its former glory. Most of the rotten trim and fascia was replaced with Hardie Board which was cut to laser precision. Rotten lap siding was replaced with new pressure treated wood, which he primed before being installed on the home! No one else would go that extra step! After extensive preparation, the home was painted. I cannot explain how happy I am with the final painted results of my home. His abilities with a paint brush on the edges, trim, windows and doors are nothing less than perfection. I could go on and on, but simply stated, Garry will be the only person I will have working on my home."

They also did small stucco repairs along the way. I am very particular about painting results; I believe edges and corners are what really makes a paint job excellent. Heavy Hitter Construction was committed to the same excellent results and making sure I was absolutely satisfied. They did multiple coats, and the end-result is beautiful. My house looks new, and my expectations were exceeded from the initial pressure washing through the final walk-through. Mr. Allen and his workers I met (Pearce, John, and Michael) were great; they're fun to talk to and were a pleasure to have at my house. They do excellent work and work SO hard. Once they started my job, there were no big gaps. They wanted the job finished promptly and efficiently too. "Everything went great! The project took about 2 weeks. The old tar/gravel roof was removed and a new metal roof was installed on 3/4 of the house. The other 1/4 required TPO since it was a completely flat area. A lot of the old wood had to be replaced due to the age and termite activity. Flashing up around the chimney is holding up great and a part of my old rainwater collection gutter system was even reinstalled on the new roof. The fascia and soffit looks great too. We've been through 5-6 rain storms already and there has been no leaks. The wood around the garage was replaced and then the whole thing was wrapped in vinyl for a clean look. Two end features on the peak of the house were wrapped as well and it made the house look very clean and neat. As for cleanup, for the most part all went well. As can be expected, a few old roofing nails were found, but not that many. A few short pieces of metal roofing and a few leftover panels were left behind as well as a bag of screws. (We made a shed with them) Overall we were very satisfied. Other roofing companies we called were quoting us $18-20K without the addition of the extra wood and the cost of the fascia/soffit or the garage repair."

"We have worked with this contractor for about 10 years and he is our go to person for any type of remodelling or repairs. Over the years he has built a lanai, extended and remodelled the kitchen, built an attic room, installed spot lighting outdoors, built a 3 car garage, added a staircase, replaced roofing, converted attached garage into a laundry and exercise room, extended the driveway; repathed outside paths, built an outdoor patio and probably many other things I'm forgetting. 
The reason we always contract to Kevin is he is exceptionally creative, visionary and helpful when it comes to achieving the look we want. His work is high quality, meticulous and always completed in a timely way. There is always a flourish added that we just wouldnt have come up with ourselves and he takes pride in making sure everything is just right and follows up afterwards to see if anything is needing tweaked. Granite, wood, tiling, whatever... it all turns out beautiful! 
 His subcontractors and  assistants have always been very courteous, friendly and trustworthy. Some of the work was completed when we were on vacation.  Kevin's team is also animal friendly! On more than one occasion they've corraled the dogs or helped relocate one runaway!
