He came to our house to measure and provide a quote. The installers were efficient and completed the job in a day. They did not charge to move the furniture (the other businesses we looked into did). We could probably have paid less at Home Depot or someplace similar, but we were interested in patronizing a small business that used their own employees to install the carpet instead of contracting out. "After wour father passed away in January, we decided to keep his home and prepare it for a rental.  As we needed new carpeting and window coverings throughout, we contacted several companies for bids one carpeting and for mini-blinds.
After reviewing Angie's List, we walked into Felikian's on a Saturday morning.  We were immediately greeted by Andre, the manager.  He listened as we explained our situation and then offered to show us samples.  He did not try to up-sell us but rather explained what he thought best for a quality rental property.
We made arrangements for Andre to visit the property to measure the floor and windows.  He called a couple days later and gave us the estimate for carpeting and then mini-blinds.  We returned to see him the following Saturday and paid for the work.  Although I had my Angie's List ad for Felikians, offering no sales tax, in my briefcase, Andre presented us with his written estimate and it already included the no tax offer.  We were pleased.
Andre called a few days later and said that they would be ready to install the carpeting and mini-blinds.  We delivered the keys to him and explained how to turn off the home's alarm.  On the day they arrived to install, our handyman, a trusted friend, was there to do other work.  He called me later to tell me how professional, efficient and friendly the installers were.
When we visited the property a few days later, we inspected everything and were amazed at the qu ality of the products and the work as performed.  Andre and Felikian's Carpeting are outstanding!

"Sonny Perkins is the best. He is patient and thorough, helped us consider options, and suggested that we move out until the rooms were dry and chemical odors dissipated. He was recommended by the contractor who was repairing the outside walls and surfaces where the water entered. Sonny coordinated with the contractor and returned several times to adjust the drying machines and bring carpet samples. He went out of his way to find the same carpeting that had been installed 9 years ago. Sonny's prices were very reasonable and the carpet installation is perfect. He and his crew were very careful of our safety, and they went beyond the usual workmen in cleaning up as they worked. We have already engaged him for another small project for padding to protect a large area rug on wood floor in the living room. We have also given his name to our friends who plan to re-carpet several rooms."
