"We had a leaking kitchen faucet and decided to replace the countertop. We went to visit the State College Distributors and were disappointed. I want to look for a one stop shop for countertops. From Slabs to fabrication to installtions. From Demo to finish installation and plumbing. Thanks to Angi, Jerry of Stone Expo was able to contact me super quickly. I am glad to have Stone Expo Inc.Jerry and his team. They finish the Demo and Installation in just one day, the next day the plumber came to finish the job. Thanks to Jerry and Ston Expo. It was very good experience. they are not only have good quality job, but also their prices are very reasonalbe compare to the other quotes. I would highly recomended Stone Expo for anyone looking to install the new countertops."

Customers say: Super punctual

"When I was first looking to do new countertops several years ago, I made a few calls and spoke with Dean. Even after telling him that it would be a while before I did this he was very helpful and I kept is number. I donâ t like did she do the countertop but out of the same slab of marble, he did that fireplace hearth and another couple of projects. He works with his family, and they are lovely also."

"Rudy worked with us on the price of the stone and the install because I'm very frugal. I can't believe I got my beautiful counters at a great price! I recommend this company because they helped me to find the perfect countertop and their work is absolutely perfect! I couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you, Rudy."

"Outstanding!  Robert showed up on time (I received a 1/2-hour window of between 8:00 and 8:30am and he was right there at 8:15).  Nice to have such a narrow window and not have to wait all day or even a half a day.  Second, he was extremely professional and courteous.  We had cleared our coutertops so he could perform the work and the work was completed in less than an hour.  The countertops were ready to go and only indicated we would want to make sure we soak up any water spillage within a 24 hour period in order to allow the sealer to do its job.
Countertops looked fantastic upon finishing and this is something we will most certainly do on an annual basis if not bi-annual basis, depending on conditions.
Strongly recommend these folks!

"He came three times.  First to give a quote and inspection.  Next, he came to do the actual work - on time and within the time he said he needed.  Finally, he came after the tubs had cured, and reconstructed the shower enclosures.  Exactly as planned.

"Eran came on time gave me a reasonable price proposal and even offered to fix the crack in my marble counter in my master bath at no additional charge when I mentoined it needed some help at the end of our conversation! On the day, he and his crew arrived on time and were careful when they moved a my dining table and other furniture items. Eran stayed with his team and the job went smoothly and in fact they finished a couple of hours early. I lhad to leave before they had finished, and when I returned they were gone,  all the furniture was placed back in tis original locations, everything was cleaned of any dust. The floors and grouting were all perfect and looked great. I will def use this company again. Highly recommend!

FAQs for stone slab countertops installation (granite, marble, quartz, etc) projects in Newport Beach, CA

With proper care, granite countertops can last 100 years or more—even in busy kitchens. The stone itself is extremely hard, but its longevity hinges on routine maintenance. Wipe up spills right away to avoid stains and reseal the surface once a year to keep moisture out. Those simple steps protect the finish and let the countertop stay both functional and attractive for decades.

Most granite countertop installations wrap up in a single day. A small vanity might take just a couple of hours, while a sprawling kitchen with multiple cut-outs or seams could stretch to eight hours. Timing depends on the layout’s size and complexity, plus any prep work like cabinet reinforcement or sink cut-outs. Experienced installers plan each step to keep your kitchen downtime to a minimum.

Granite isn’t your only stone choice. Marble delivers a classic, high-end look, while quartz blends natural stone with resins for extra strength and easy upkeep. Quartzite offers marble-like veining with granite-level durability, and soapstone brings a softer, matte finish that develops character over time. Consider how each material lines up with your style, maintenance goals, and budget before you decide.

Granite countertops can boost resale appeal and may recoup up to 25% of their installation cost when you sell. Buyers value their timeless style, durability, and low upkeep, so updated granite surfaces often stand out in listing photos and showings. Beyond potential return on investment (ROI), they refresh the kitchen’s look and signal that the space has been well cared for.

Quartz and granite are both tough, but they excel in different ways. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so it shrugs off spills and resists scratches from daily use, yet direct heat can damage its resins. Granite handles hot pans better but needs yearly sealing because it’s naturally porous. Choose quartz if you want nearly maintenance-free durability, or pick granite for a heat-friendly surface that rewards a little routine care.
