"I hired S&L for several projects to assist on finish work for a new house I was building. The work included installing cabinetry in the kitchen, baths and laundry room. Custom building shelving in several closet and a pantry. Doing stone and tile work. Also finish trim in various areas around the house. The team did excellent work, were very conscientious about the work and also very clean and respectful about the work and our needs. I would highly recommend them for any type of project. As we have new needs I will be contacting them for future projects. "

They had to move some items in the garage to get to the door, and put everything back just as it was. They cleaned up everything when finished. They took the mantle off, removed and took away the old tile, figured out a way to dispense with some of the typical underlayment in order for the new stone hearth to come out flush with the floor, and installed the new tile. There was some basement reinforcement needed due to the workaround and they did that. Did a beautiful job - from carpentry to tile to painting. AND on their way out moved a ceiling light fixture and repaired the ceiling such that it was seamless. I am a fan!"

"Abe replaced damaged areas of my deck, stained it, and installed posts from which I was able to hang lighting and shade options in my backyard, which previously had none. The latter of this work was an idea he presented to me and that I had never considered myself, with very little added cost. Abe is efficient while also providing incredible quality. I was blown away by the amount of work he achieved in a short period of time, and even more impressed that there was no need for touchups afterward (although he offered to come back with no added cost if anything were to arise). This is the first contractor I have worked with who I felt wasn’t pressuring me into more than I needed. He assessed the work to be done, gave feedback on any potential hiccups that could arise, and made me feel entirely comfortable throughout the entire process with clear communication.
