"Excellent service. I now feel secure knowing that my sump pump will go on if the power goes off. Unfortunately, I didn’t install the battery backup before the March storms. After Global had done several jobs for me in the past, I thought I was finally going to live without water in my basement but Mother Nature had other ideas. Luckily Bob came to my rescue rather quickly after the flooding. Now I KNOW I’ll be water-free. Bob has never tried to pressure me into buying something I don’t need or can’t afford but I wish I had bought the battery years ago when he first told me about it. I won’t make that mistake again. We set up another day for my job, as rescheduling was not a problem for me. I really appreciated that he didn't leave me hanging by not showing up or not calling, like a lot of service providers do. "George has provided handyman services at my home in the past. Early 2021, I hired Ocean State Property Services to do a kitchen renovation. It did not go as planned due to supply chain disruption and freight carrier delays that resulted in my cabinets arriving damaged from the manufacturer, this did not sit well with OSPS and they quit the job early. George and his team did a great job with the demolition, plumbing and industry connections (i.e. flooring, countertops, plastering). The downside was inefficient communication and negative attitude stemming from the contractor's frustration. In the end, George did not complete the job but left on amicable terms. I would hire George again for another job that had "less moving parts" to it. PS His helpers are fantastic!"
