"Pro stone Granite installed granite counter tops in my home in a manner that was professional and honest. The company is primarily a husband and wife team and they both made me feel comfortable with my choice. The wife came in and provided a preliminary estimate and this was followed by her husband making an appointment for the formal fitting. They were both on time for the "quote", fitting and installation. Their price was good but more than anything else, they delivered what they promised when they said they would."

"Pacific Stone and Tiles came to measure and showed about 6 choices for granite selection for the offer price. We were working with our own interior designer and we were on FaceTime with her. She nixed the 6 choices so Pacific Stone showed us another granite which was from India and was mostly white with few markings and some reddish-brownish highlights. The effect of this Indian granite was white and it coordinated nicely with our maple cabinets. Our interior designer told us to choose that and we agreed to pay Pacific Stone $1000. more for this granite from India. No name was given for this new granite in writing. When the day of installation came, the old countertop was removed. I did not think to go out and look at the granite in the truck before installation. The installation was done very efficiently and very nicely. However, the countertop did not look like what we were expecting. The color effect was gray with many markings. We were expecting a whitish granite and got gray. I asked to see the original sample that we had been shown when we selected the white granite but they did not have it on the truck. I contacted Pacific Stone and they emailed me a photo of what they said was the granite sample they showed me, but it did not look what they showed me. The granite we got was called moon white on the final bill but it had no name on the original invoice we signed. I made a number of inquiries about the discrepancy between the granite color we expected and what we received. Pacific Stone said there are natural variations in the appearance of each granite variety. However, we paid $1000 more because we thought we were getting the granite color we and our interior designer viewed and chose. I don't think I got the granite we selected and feel I paid $1000 too much. I now have to figure out how to get the granite to coordinate with the maple cabinets as well as regretting that I paid $1000 more than I should have."

"Great job, the ceiling is as good as new. Steve must've made 6 visits to our home for this job. He came to open up the ceiling for the plumber on the first day. After the plumbing repairs were made, he returned promptly to replace the drywall and put a first layer of mud over the joints. He made several subsequent visits to add more layers, prime and paint to complete the job. His final price was very reasonable, considering all of the trips he made to ensure a great job."

But once I knew what the holdup had been (permits from town, etc.), it was a bit more understandable. I'd advise reaching out to the client to let them know the scoop. Aside from that, we are thrilled with the roof, railing and stairs Aaron and his cohort (I've forgotten his name) built for us. The two of them are great guys and I felt very comfortable with them at our house. Everything is rock solid, and is even endorsed by my husband, who can be a bit of a stickler. Another biggie: it was on budget. On of our big asks was that we had the roof in place before the snow flew, and sure enough, the roof was up and sealed up the day before the first snowfall of the season (late October or early November).
