"Joanne came to give us an estimate. She was punctual & very professional & competent.
She explained the whole process in detail & provided some suggestions where we had questions.
We used a plumber Bill Shea's works with to remove the old sink & replace it with our new one. That worked out fine getting the exact times we needed to work around the countertop installation.
The installers did an amazing job using only 2 pieces of the material for the backsplash. So there is just one seam.
After they left, I saw some area where i felt more caulking should have been applied. Joanne called the installers without hesitation, & they came back to fix that area to my satisfaction.

This was about as seamless a kitchen renovation that one could ever hope for.  Dave listened carefully to the goals we wanted to achieve in our kitchen, and was patient with the design adjustments we wanted to incorporate as we considered each version of the design plans.  One cabinet in particular that was added toward the end of the design process was brilliantly conceived on his part--a cabinet to store large items that looked like a lovely piece of dining room furniture, with exterior shelving and drawers. It is a centerpiece in the kitchen.  Dave was careful to preserve important walk ways in our kitchen so as to not create bottlenecks--an important element in this centrally located kitchen.  His advice on style and color of cabinetry was also highly valued in our desire to achieve a cleaner and brighter look, yet one that was still consistent with our 1931 Colonial.

The Brookhaven cabinets are beautiful and well-made.  While they are pricey, Dave was able to steer us to take advantage of a manufacturer's discount.  The selection of hardware that was available without incurring additional cost was completely adequate, and we took advantage of this option.

Installation of the cabinetry was smooth and timely.  We decided to make a last minute change to the placement of our microwave, which necessitated the order of a new drawer.  This took longer than we had hoped, but understood that this was not a Kitchen Center issue, but rather one of the manufacturer, as each items is custom made.  When the drawer arrived, it was without a front--this added more time. 

Once the cabinetry was installed, irregularities were minimal.  Dave and a service that works with him tended to adjusting hinges, covering screw heads, and painting areas that needed to be smoothed. 

Overall, working with the Kitchen Center exceeded our expectations.  Communication and responsiveness were excellent.  They partnered well with our contractor so that there were no glitches or last minute surprises--almost unheard of for a kitchen renovation.  The quality of the design and workmanship has made for a space that we are loving, and our only regret was that we did no redo our kitchen sooner!

"I sent a request for quote via Angie's List in the morning, for drilling a hole in my granite countertop so that an under sink filtration system could be installed. I got a call in the afternoon of the same day from the owner and an installer was sent to my house in the evening. Devon, the installer, was very polite and professional. He did a great job very efficiently and cleaned up everything after finishing the drilling. It was pleasant working with this company and Devon, and I would definitely hire them again!"

"Executive summary: best money we spent on the kitchen remodel. We brought in Craig when we decided to do a gut remodel of our kitchen. Taking everything down to the studs gave us a blank canvas to work with that was, frankly, daunting. We tried a couple of the free design services and nothing felt right – everything felt too cookie cutter and bland. Designing the kitchen with Craig was truly a fun experience. He came to the house to talk with us about what we wanted, took some initial measurements, and got back to us with a design. That’s when it got really enjoyable: we had multiple iterations of “What about this?” and “Can we try that?” It wasn’t just Craig telling us what to do, he incorporated our ideas and feedback enthusiastically. There were a few times he told us flat-out not to do something and in hindsight I see that he was correct. We also had some of our own fixed requirements and he worked those into the process. The end result is amazing. The kitchen has become our favorite room in the house and a room where the whole family congregates. Wish we would have remodeled years ago but it wouldn’t have been nearly as good without Craig’s help."
